Why did the early Christian church fold so quickly to Islam in the middle east and north Africa?
>>
>>18720832
Because Christianity isn't the true faith, hence why Christians also lost the Crusades overall

>Why did the early Christian church fold so quickly to Islam in the middle east and north Africa?
They didn't though? It was many centuries before Islam became the majority faith in MENA.

It was Christianity that folded though. It was an overextended empire suffering from increasing manpower strain from maintaining hostile fronts on all sides.
>>18720835
What are you talking about, colonialism was a success and permanently enshitified the Middle East
>>

>Christians tried to retake the "Holy Land"
>They weren't able to in the long run
It's that simple

Those who call themselves Christians (though they are polytheists) fought against the Persians until both were severely weakened. At this time Allah swt chose to reveal the Quran to his final messenger Muhammad pbuh. Muhammad pbuh was actually closer to Jesus pbuh than any other person, even the apostles of the messiah, may Allah swt be pleased with them. The Romans, who were the polytheists who called themselves Christians), claimed some sort of initiatic chain from the apostles, but their chain of initiation was fabricated to give themselves authority. The true followers of the messiah, the Muslims, were granted victory over the polytheistic Romans. This victory was granted by Allah swt. The Romans were praying to Jesus pbuh, but Jesus had already given his blessing to Muhammad pbuh when the ladder ascended to the second heaven during Al-Isra' wal-Mi'raj.

IN THE EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN BASN, AND IN PERSIA, THERE WERE MANY NESTORIAN SECTS; NESTORIANS OUTNUMBERED CHRISTIANS IN THE EAST; WHEN THE SASSANID EMPIRE DISSOLVED, THE BARBARIANS OF THE DESERT CONVERTED TO NESTORIANISM, AND THAT SLOWLY MORPHED INTO ISLAMISM.

ALL PREVIOUSLY NESTORIAN TERRITORY, ALL THE WAY TO SOUTHEASTERN ASIA, BECAME ISLAMICAL BECAUSE OF THAT: IT WAS ALL NESTORIAN TERRITORY.

>north Africa
it was mostly pagan berbers living there
coptic egypt was majority christian until the 11th

>middle east
iran was not christian, and the rest was populated by arabs and other semitic groups, easy to get why they would get drawn to islam
>>
>>18720870
Nestorianism is Christianity you retarded latinx
>>
>>18720856
Jesus never existed. He is a mythical figure no different from Romulus and Hercules.
>>
>>18720852
>they weren't able to
Wrong. Christians are waiting for the jews to build their promised temple first
>>
>>18720832
Most of "the Church" didn't agree on anything and didn't give a fuck when the Muslims first came to Egypt et. all because the Muslims were basically half-pagan Arab Christians anyways.
It's only in the Abbasid period that these Christians (and many other people, like actual Arab tribesmen) were rugpulled for more direct, Abbasid-idea-of-Islam rule.
The rugpull, if you will.
>>
Because early Islam wasn't even Islam but an amalgamation of beliefs and practices that existed in the Middle East.

That really says it all, doesn't it?

If only you knew how mich it says. The red heifer is already grey, they probably sold her to McDonalds
>>
>>18720832
Faiths that developed in response to Christianity (Islam, Judaism) are resistant to it

If the Romans were still polytheists in the 7th century they wouldn’t have branded Jupiter and Mars as false gods nor would they have suppressed paganism in the empire.
>>
dunno op, certainly nothing to do with new ruling class trickling down a new religion and language as previous, now 2nd class religions were starved of funds and political power
>>
>>18721784
The fact that this even happened refutes the notion that the Romans never had a chance to stop the spread of Christianity.
>>
It didn’t fold quickly. Christian communities survived for centuries, and the conquest was usually political and military before it became demographic.
