I have seen that many ethno-nationalists from different countries are paganlarpers, for example, peruvian ethnocacerists despise catholicism and try to bring back Inca paganism, zamint niggas try to bring back the worshipp of african deities same with asian nationalists and their respective gods.
Why do european nationalists are so attached to christianity even though is a middle eastern religion when they could easily retake european paganism which obviously is more apt for their biospirit?
>>
>>18721731
Because no one knows the pagan gods and because we believe in Christ or are atheist

Europe is not like America, Christianity arrived on their shores nearly two thousand years ago. Paganism was wiped out totally by Christianity. Some old relics remain, like standing stones, deep in the forests. But no one really knows what they were used for.
>>
>>18721731
Actual ethnonationalism is for atheists and new agers
Scratch a Christian and a cuckservative bleeds
>>
>>18721731
Because nationalists are silly little dumdums who just pick and choose whatever little tidbits from history and mythology they like to craft their narratives.

Okay, so imagine this. You come from an ancient noble family and there is a baroque chateau which has been handed down through the generations for centuries. Its currently in a somewhat decrepit state and you need to repair it. Now archaeological surveys have shown the that the oldest parts of the chateau's foundations surviving sections of a medieval keep which your distant ancestors built on the site. Further evidence shows that the keep itself was built on the site of an earlier wooden fortress.

So in the interest of preserving your family's historic seat, what do you do? Do you tear down the chateau and attempt to rebuild a facsimile of the medieval keep or the ancient fort? Baroque architecture isn't native to your country anyway, so perhaps that would be more true to the ethnic character of your lineage. No, because that would be crazy, right?
>>
>>18721813
Its decripit state may just have something to do with unsound architecture behind this baroque extension.
>>
>>18721816
But what if it's not an extension which can simply be removed, what if that is 90 per cent of the structure?
>>
>>18721818
If the architectural flaws are really that pervasive then the structure may just have to go. Fortunately I doubt that's the case.
>>
>>18721823
So just erase your history because its not flawless? That sounds like an extremely psychotic mindset.
>>
>>18721826
Ideally not but we have to identity the structural cause of this buildings condition if we are to have any hope of repairing and maintaining it, otherwise we aren't preserving anything, we're just wallpapering over cracks.
It should go without saying that in this analogy I'm suggesting the root cause of the wests malaise is Christian morality. And the parts of our history that are actually worth preserving, do not have much to do with Christianity.
>>
>>18721829
If that is the case, and the house truly isn't salvageable, then you've got difficult choice. Whatever the case is, knocking it down and building a speculative archaeological reconstruction doesn't seem like a great choice if this is where you are going to live.

You say the parts of our history that are actually worth preserving don't have much to do with Christianity. Unless you're a radical modernist, there is simply no way that could be true.
>>
>>18721867
I agree, there is no point making a reconstruction of a primitive dwelling. Better to make a completely new structure.
>You say the parts of our history that are actually worth preserving don't have much to do with Christianity. Unless you're a radical modernist, there is simply no way that could be true.
Yeah, the reason Europe was great is not because it was Christian but because it is White. It was great before Christianity ever existed, it was still great after Freemasonry became the true elite religion. Compared to the thirdie hordes, it still great today. The problems begin with the millstone of slave morality arounds its neck, and it is quite easy to follow where that began.
>>
>>18721879
I mean, okay, if you want to go down the whole secular Nietzschean route go ahead. But since the thread was originally asking about nationalism and pagan revivalism, Nietzsche was in favour of neither of those things.

>why do european cives gravitate towards the civitas sentiment rather than the paganus aka rural sentiment that their ancestors got rid of?
GEE
>why do american and african rurals gravitate towards the paganus sentiment rather than the civitas sentiment their ancestors fought but failed against?
I WONDER WHY
>>
>>18721731
Because "Spanish" or "French" identity didn't exist before Christianity, obviously?
France as we know it was basically the creation of Clovis and the Church and Gallo-Romans all agreeing on a certain compact: the Frankish warlords would adopt the Catholic faith and provide the Gallo-Roman people with military protection and a stable government keeping the realm at peace.
A French nationalist won't really identify with the pagan Gauls who obviously did not speak French, and French is you know... A pretty fucking important part of FRENCH identity.

Eurangutans are a race of designated goycattle, they're naturally programmed to worship jews

Christianity has been European for roughly 1,500 years, so "foreign" gets a little complicated after that much history

BBC is their god and their body is the altar, as pic related reveals garbed in religious vetements.

Why should you care about some gods who couldn't protect you from christians and abandoned you for 2000 years?
>>
my country was illiterate and didn't even have writing before Christianity

Greco-Roman paganism is also a Near Eastern import. Germanic paganism is a Central Asian import.
>>
very little is known about pre-Christian paganism for many European cunts
>>
>>18721731
That's because Europeans are the lost tribes of Israel.
>>
Europe has been majority Christian since the mid 5th century AD at the absolute latest. That's 1,600 years. Even ignoring recency bias, that makes Christianity far more authentically European than any pagan religion. For example people LARP a lot about Woden>>18722231
, yet the oldest sources attesting to his worship come from the 5th century, and it had almost entirely died out by the end of the 10th. The Greek pantheon with their proper names and lore (as opposed to tablets talking about generic nameless spirits) cannot be dated before the late 8th century BC. Greece has already been Christian for longer than it worshiped gods named (any variant of) Zeus, Athena, or Apollo. The oldest evidence of the Italic gods that were later syncretized with those of Greece comes from the 7th century BC.

The Norse pantheon was worshiped for only about 400 years before the Christian era. It is thought that Norse traders brought back the Roman gods and localized them.
