I believe in Christianity in part because I've noticed that humans (including me) are inherently selfish, evil and stupid, so morality must come from somewhere else

Yet those selfish, evil and stupid people created societies which rely entirely on people helping other people, perhaps even strangers. Now, I know someone will say that it all manifests from selfishness, but then we can just ask if selfishness is all bad if it can lead to overwhelmingly good things.

>>18725956Depends really, you can take Hungarians as an example I guess. They have been here for over a millennia, I think they have about 5% of their former Asiatic heritage. Most slavs sit at around 10%, but that comes from pre-Slavic hunter gatherers. I'm not a haploautist, I don't really care, but these are pretty marginal levels. Compare that with your example of Roma peoples, who don't even intermix, and you sort of see how ridiculous the argument is.

All of a sudden these people stop being Europeans when some new genomic data comes to light showing that they may have been marginally Asian 10,000 years ago. Put frankly, I don't buy it, especially when things are fairly dire for Europeans in general at the moment.
