You great city of Babylon, look, what have you become? Soon your wealth will be taken away from you, and your land will be turned into piles of rubble, because you ask: "What do I want?" instead of seeking the One from whom your life comes and doing what is right and true in His eyes. You beast, the land that makes laws and governs the people of the earth, because you know that the world you have built for yourselves will not last, you ask: "What benefits me?" instead of seeking the One who told you to do what is right and true in His eyes, even when it does not benefit you.You false prophet, you who claim to uphold His ways, yet do everything in your power to drive people away from Him and make them worship governments and laws through your traditions and religions, you are detestable. You ask: "How should it be?" instead of seeking the One who told you how it should be and doing what is right and true in His eyes. Therefore this is what the Lord says:"There are those who hate the one who upholds justice in court and detest the one who tells the truth. You levy a straw tax on the poor and impose a tax on their grain. Therefore, though you have built stone mansions, you will not live in them; though you have planted lush vineyards, you will not drink their wine. For I know how many are your offenses and how great your sins. There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes and deprive the poor of justice in the courts. Therefore the prudent keep quiet in such times, for the times are evil."The Lord has sworn by himself, the Pride of Jacob: "I will never forget anything they have done."Amen. Come, the Son of God.
"They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been."Put on the white robe and turn to Him sincerely.
