The last few months I have been studying Islam and I have come to the conclusion that Islam is a false religion. I tried my best to be objective and to read the Quran and to read about the life of Muhammad.Who is Jesus? – The Quran claims Jesus was born of a virgin but is not the son of God. It claims that Jesus is a mere messenger who predicted the coming of Ahmed (Muhammad). Jesus is reduced to being a miracle worker with no personality. No sermon on the mount, no beatitudes and no parables. It claims Jesus was not crucified and it only appeared to be so but no one really knows.The Quran was written approximately 550 years after the earliest gospel of Mark. Paul’s first letters, the earliest scripture in the New Testament, including 1 Thessalonians and Galatians, support the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Paul was also writing within a few decades of Jesus and knew Peter and James, the brother of Jesus.The problem for Islam is that the historical evidence supports Jesus’ crucifixion. The vast majority of scholars accept that Jesus was crucified under Pontius Pilate. Early Christians would also have had little reason to invent such a humiliating death for Jesus. Multiple non-Christian Roman and Jewish sources also refer to Jesus or his execution, including Tacitus and Josephus.Muhammad – I have respect for Muhammad and he clearly did some good, if we are to believe the accounts. His treatment of others in Medina, his concern for the poor and his devotion to standing against paganism and polytheism is to be respected. His farewell speech too, showed him to be a good man.For me, the biggest problem is that the Quran comes hundreds of years after Jesus but rejects one of the best established facts about his life. The Quran claims to be the truth, but on this important issue I do not believe the historical evidence supports it, therefore Islam is false.

So Jesus could have been crucified and died, but they still didn’t ultimately win because God raised and vindicated him.He also pointed to verses like 3:55, 5:117 and 19:33 which seem to talk about Jesus dying.

That was accepted as a fact a few centuries after.
