Matthew 24:29 (KJV) — “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.”

Matthew 24:34 (KJV) — “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.”

Jesus is the speaker in both of these quotes. So need I say more? Even if Jesus did have superpowers, these are things you can be born with due to past life karma. He didn't know everything. That or the bible author wrote the wrong things, which happens.

The "things" referred to in "till all these things be fulfilled" are the things he is talking about earlier in the chapter, and includes the coming of the Son of man, and we know from Matthew 16 that some of the people he is talking to will still be alive when that happens. So yes, "generation" does in fact mean the people he is talking to.
