>>18740176LMAO gtfo
>>18740194You are a suppressive person. You are not worth talking to, and you are not interested in the truth. But know that healing is possible, and this pain does not need to define you.
>>18740197Seek God
>>18740221Before you can understand the 8th dynamic, you must contend with the foundations, starting with yourself. My SP friend, you are not even close to finding yourself let alone finding God.
>>18740223Because I reject Scientology? God isn’t complicated, He incarnated as a peasant that taught people to be like children, you don’t need all this satanic machinery to be we
>>18740227Only that is not true, and deep down you know that isn’t true. But more importantly than that, is the philosophy promoted by Christianity is itself suppressive, as it is with ancient religions in general. It perpetuates the trauma that created it, which is why you see such suppressive behaviour by its members.
>>18740176Because Xenu never existed. He did not blow up volcanos 75 million years ago
>>18740245Tis but a metaphor to describe our earthly bondage in a way 20th century people can understand
>>18740176Anon that’s Gnosticism not Scientology
>>18740251Scientology is basically a kind of modern Gnosticism and it does teach all of the above
>>18740254NTA yeah but it's modern gnosticism for chumps
>>18740176>You can learn to overcome these experiences and achieve rationality, inner peace and spiritual consciousnessYes, but the way that you try to do it is often harmful, abusive, and absurd. >Only that is not true, and deep down you know that isn’t true.Deep down, I know that it is.
>>18740269Gnosticism is for chumps. Its literally satan's last card if you didn't fall for any of his other bullcrap. All he's got is making you think you're in the heckin' wholesome rick and morty simulation
>>18740281>Its literally satan's last card if you didn't fall for any of his other bullcrapFirst of all, it's Lucifer, ChudSecond of all, God is evil
>>18740281Satan is the master of this world. Jesus will tell you the same thing.
>>18740279At that point though you’re not critiquing Scientology, the religion. You’re critiquing the church of Scientology. There are Protestant Scientologists in 2026
>>18740297sophistry
>>18740298Is it though? You are not a member of the medieval Catholic Church.
>>18740313false equivalence
>>18740321How?
>>18740289that's because he's been deputized by God, not because he created anything, moloch
>>18740323Explain how the church of scientology is as different from what you call Scientology as the medieval Catholic Church is from Christianity.
>>18740176Your EO won't be pleased about you engaging in debate on Scientology online. Go to Ethics and do your conditions.
>>18740328Well scientology is a belief system and the church of scientology is an organisation. If you were a Christian in medieval times that does not necessarily mean belonging to or supporting the medieval Catholic church.
>>18740251The shortcut to a successful cult seems to be to just reskin some variety of Christianity.Christianity imagines a worldwide flood sent by God to dramatically lower the population thousands of years ago, a disaster that may have left behind demons that possess people and need to be removed by exorcism (if you accept the Enoch expansion pack)? Uh... Let's say there was a *cosmic dictator named Xenu* *millions of years ago* who tried to dramatically lower the population by setting off bombs in volcanoes across earth, a disaster that left behind invisible "body thetans" who grab onto people, making them mentally and physically sick, and need to be removed by "auditing."
>>18740342>a disaster that left behind invisible "body thetans"Not the belief. You are the Thetan, that is your real spiritual self, the MEST body is just a vehicle. The lasting impact of Xenu’s genocide attempt is that we were brainwashed to forget our divinity.
>>18740339Scientology has yet to produce offshoots seeking to purify its doctrines - the church is effectively its belief system and vice versa. Thus anything that can be attributed to the church can be attributed to its beliefs.
>>18740350I'm just going off https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_thetan
>>18740297>Protestant ScientologistsThose are called Squirrels and LRH absolutely despised them.
>>18740353Wronghttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_Zone_(Scientology)
>>18740350If it's all a metaphor, why do you think people need to be told that the spaceships looked identical to Douglas DC-8 aeroplanes? Why can't they just look like spaceships?
>>18740355If LRH was alive today he himself would be excommunicated because half the shit that is taught today is nowhere in the original teachings and certain things that were in the original teachings have been abandoned because it wasn't kosher enough.
>>18740360Is that who you represent?
>>18740361A functional spaceship does look like an aeroplane.
>>18740366That's not an organisation, there's just the general term for independent scientology.
>>18740360If you think these people are heretical, then it's a moot point anyway. Now, tell me, why do you think a belief system cannot be judged on the actions of the organisation that forms and disseminates that system?
>>18740367You said it's all metaphor here >>18740246 so what's the significance of the Douglas DC-8?
>>18740176>why does the religion explicitly made up as a con by it's founder, whose own sales pitch doesn't work, and has concentration camps for members who try to leave, get so much hate?
>>18740380It’s a vivid way to describe it to a contemporary imagination. Your point?
>>18740373Well you’re a Christian and you already said you don’t support the medieval Catholic Church so you tell me
>>18740389Where did I say that?
Regular reminder that if you're Clear you should have perfect recall and therefore can say what's the 12th word on the 9th line of page 93 of Dianetics.
>>18740391You do support the medieval Catholic Church?
>>18740393Which edition?
>>18740395The comparison is ridiculous. The Catholic Church is a millennia old institution that spans the entire globe and has had billions of members historically. Its size and extent are a large part of why people do not judge Christianity itself when members of the Catholic Church commit heinous acts. The same cannot be said for the Church of Scientology - it's a comparatively miniscule organisation, with little in the way of real development or innovation thanks to its youth. Corruption and abuse happen at all levels of the Church of Scientology, and Scientologists are a small enough set that they cannot simply plead ignorance. As such, yes, your belief system can obviously be judged by the behaviour of your organisation as a whole, since that's what most influences its decision making.
>>18740413Okay so if scientology was literally the exact same organisation but it was older and bigger then the exact same belief system would be justified?Do you see why that's retarded?
>>18740419>then the exact same belief system would be justified? Not if the percentage of abusers remained the same as membership increased, no.
>>18740422At that point you’re just making the same argument about suppressive persons that LRH’s philosophy does. Which legitimises the whole point that Scientology is a belief system that can be discussed on the merits or failings of its philosophy itself.Problem is people just want to discuss the church drama or the sci fi jargon. Which completely misses the point of why people actually join Scientology and persist in Scientologist beliefs even after leaving the church
>>18740428>we actually agree with you!Uh huh.
>>18740429>completely does not engage with the point
>>18740176It's a scam and it's followers are retards who fell for the grift.
>>18740519That's every religion
>>18740176Scientology was originally just a parody religion started by a science fiction writer because parody religions were in-vogue in the mid 20th century (SubGenius et al) only he realized he could use it to launder money
>>18740532No proof of this btw
