Spend an hour reading through Carriers Bluesky and blog and youll realize just how retarded he is.

He is the only libtard that chuds of the atheist variety think is 100% correct about things.

*refutes your fringe theory with argumentum ad populum*

He had a pretty good argument for mythicism once though. In a debate with Robert Price he said that the "historical" Jesus is to biblical Jesus what Clark Kent is to Superman, without realizing that both are equally fictional despite the former lacking the miraculous powers of the latter.

in 10-20 years the mainstream consensus will be mythicism. 50 years ago people used to think of moses as a historical person. today not even larpers like bart ehrman think moses was real.

Paul knew first-hand sources like Peter and James. That's good enough for me.

Moses was likely real, Old-Testament is an entirely different and larger beast. New Testament scholars are out of their depth when they venture into it. You actually have it kinda backwards - scholars were overly skeptical and minimalist before and its lately that you're seeing a trend towards finding historical kernels.

Paul never even met Jesus while he was alive. He's hardly a reliable source for anything.

What could be the historical kernel for Moses if the Exodus never happened?

>I have no trouble believing that Clark Kent existed but I don't think Superman did
Kek historicism in a nutshell

>Paul never even met Jesus while he was alive. He's hardly a reliable source for anything.
But he interacted closely with those that did. And not always on positive terms.

Exodus did happen in some form.

It's safe to say Paul was making all that shit up. After all, he pretended to have hallucinated Jesus just to get in on the cult's leadership

The Exodus narrative was probably based on the nomadic lifestyle of the Shasu of Yhw.

Kinda ironic how these Jesus quests keep making him look less and less like a real person.
