Was the Treaty of Trianon justified, from the point of view of ethnic self-determination? Would you have drawn the borders differently?

I would have made an independent nigger state

Trianon wasn't harsh enough
m*gy*rs love starting wars, getting btfo because they're weak cowards, then crying when the victims punish them for their savagery and aggression

They were never drawing borders based on ethnic lines. Nobody with that in their mind would give the inner pocket of Transylvania to the Romanians. Not with East Prussia being made a thing. There would've been plebiscites, but those were blocked with one exception. Sopron was allowed to vote to be part of Burgenland or not, and they 65% voted to remain part of Hungary. Even though it was a majority ethnically Austrian territory.
The borders of Trianon followed the lines that were promises to the allies. Slovakia didn't have a history as an independent state and Transylvania never belonged to Romania. The whole "ethnic determination" was a facade.

While you're right for the most part, there was a short lived union that included roughly the whole territory of modern Romania in 1600.

I intentionally exclude the union, because it was a protestant Hungarian principality under Hungarian rule following Hungarian law and under the Crown of St Stephen. It's as far-fetched to claim it as part of modern Romania as claiming the Principality of Upper Hungary justifies a Turkish state in modern Slovakia.

Splitting up the lands of the Crown of St. Stephen was a mistake. Latin should’ve remained the official language and everyone else could keep their own languages at home. Magyars ruined everything by pretending Hungarian always meant Magyar. The Hungarus were a multiethnic political nation bound by faith, loyalty, and common cause. Due to their greed, the Magyars locked the other Hungarus out of their common heritage in a shared Uhorsko. Therefore, Trianon wasn’t harsh enough to punish the Magyars for their greed, their greed that set brotherly nations against each other, that led them to abuse their role as primary custodians of the lands of the Crown of St. Stephan.

Hungarians are not a real nation. They are rape babies that were replaced by other rape babies multiple times during last 1500 years.
