How can the idea that japan surrendered in ww2 because of the soviet invasion instead of atomic bombings be properly debunked?
>>
>>18753205
You can't. They had already suffered multiple nukes-tiers of damage before the nukes were dropped and their plans to make the population bleed for the emperor were not affected by that at all.

So the choice was between surrendering to a people who rebelled against Parliament for alienating them from a king or keeping up the fight and making room at the postwar table for a known group of anti-monarchist regicidists.
>>
>>18753205
The Soviet entry only further demoralized the Japanese who had hoped to reach more favorable negotiations with the Allies through them but there is no evidence that their entry particularly was what made them give in, regardless of everything else going on. The military still wanted to fight on even after both the Soviet entry and atomic bombs but it was ultimately the Emperor taking initative to broadcast surrender that ended it, something he was pushing to be done prior to both the bombs and Soviet entry.

It's a convoluted topic. The Japanese had a couple of concerns about the US alone(firebombing of rice fields in autumn, right before harvests would've basically meant they can't conduct the war anymore in any way), but the military hardliners would point to the fact that had they done a naval assault on the home isles then the problem they've had to contend with so far would've been American - in Iwo Jima for instance they couldn't have possibly resupplied their troops much so they had to fight at logistical disadvantage. Well in the battle of the Japanese coast it's the US military that has logistical disadvantage - Japanese supplies go into combat straight from the factory, American ones have to cross the pacific as usual. As such having the US Army or Marines land was perhaps not the end of the world, it was perfectly possible that they could've been pushed back into the sea and then maybe they could've used Stalin as a mediator and gotten at least some concessions. There was also a question of prestige. Those who were well informed knew that the Kwantung Army in Manchuria isn't worth much anymore, but the army, which was the most fanatically fight until the last Japanese faction in Japanese government could've pointed to them and said - look our army is undefeated when the navy isn't a huge factor in its operations. The complete destruction of theirs in days took that argument away.

At the same time it has to be noted that Americans slightly softened their approach and it was questionable whether the Soviets, had they held a prominent position at the table, would. The Americans eventually agreed not to abolish the monarchy, had there been a soviet occupation zone in Japan it's doubtful it would be this easy of a concession.

>But soviets couldn't reach Japanese coasts
Americans lended them their ships.

Allies executed members of the Japanese imperial family, Tadashige Daigo

https://desuarchive.org/his/thread/17734587/#q17737100

Tadashige Daigo and Fumimaro Konoe were both members of the Japanese imperial family whose ancestors were adopted by other families.

They were both executed, suicided

They were more closely related to Hirohito than the official cadet branches designated to succeed the main line.

Japanese girls from the imperial family who were adopted out, also married white foreigners.

Japanese royals married to white men commoners and Japanese royals executed by US

The current Konoe family are a cadet branch of the Japanese royal (imperial) family after the original Konoe family went extinct.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konoe_family#Miyagawa_family

>In the early 17th century the Konoe family was imperiled, for Konoe Nobutada was the last of his line and had no male heir. He decided to adopt one of his nephews, who was also the fourth son of Emperor Go Yozei. The child was renamed Konoe Nobuhiro (1599 to 1649), who later married Nobutada's daughter.11 12 From there the Konoe lineage was renewed and continued until 1956, when the eldest son of Prime Minister Fumimaro Konoe, 13 Fumitaka, died in the Soviet Union 14 without a legitimate male heir. Fumitaka's wife subsequently adopted his nephew Tadateru Konoe, second son of Fumitaka's sister, as their heir.15 Tadateru's patrilineal descent, through his biological father Morisada Hosokawa,16 comes from the Hosokawa clan, a cadet branch of Seiwa Genji and descended from Emperor Seiwa 17 he also has an elder brother Morihiro Hosokawa, the Prime Minister of Japan from 1993 to 1994. Tadateru married, in 1966, a granddaughter of Emperor Taisho, Yasuko (formerly Princess Yasuko of Mikasa).18

Konoe Tadahiro paternally descended from Konoe Nobuhiro, fourth son of Japanese emperor Go Yozei

Tadatoshi Miyagawa is a direct paternal descendant of Konoe Tadahiro.

Tadatoshi Miyagawa's daughter Yoko Miyagawa (born 1964) is married to white man Johann Sebastian Paetsch and his other daughter Yuko (born 1968) is married to white man Mark Gothoni.

Both women are directly paternally descended from Japanese Emperor Go Yozei (1571 to 1617).

A Japanese emperor's direct descendants are married to white men.

In fact, these girls are closer in the paternal line to the current Japanese emperor, than the officially recognised cadet branch heirs from the Fushimi no miya shinnoke cadet branches who descended from an Emperor before Go Yozei

It was only because their ancestor was adopted to the Konoe family that their royal status was officially removed.

Prime minister Fumimaro Konoe and his son Fumitaka were from the same branch as these girls.

Fumimaro Konoe committed suicide when he was going to be tried by the US during the occupation of Japan and his son Fumitaka died in a Soviet gulag.

Another son of Japanese emperor Go Yozei, Ichijo Akiyoshi had a son named Fuyumoto who was adopted by the Daigo noble family (hence why this cadet branch was also excluded from the line of succession like the son adopted by Konoe family)

Tadashige Daigo was executed by the US for war crimes in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia) against Sultans

Again, as a descendant of Emperor Go Yozei, he is far closer paternally to Hirohito than the official Fushimi no miya shinnoke cadet branches

So it's a big lie that the Allies did not try any biological paternal members of the Japanese royal family, they literally executed one and drove another to suicide

And two girls from one of these branches are sleeping with white men

The cuck Hirohito allows his relative Konoe to be driven to suicide, for Daigo to be executed, he said nothing to save them. They were closer patrilineally to him than the Fushimi no miya princes.

All the liars claiming Japanese believe in blood purity are exposed.

Remember all the fake commotion about the Japanese princess marrying a commoner?

Japanese girls who are descended from the imperial family are getting railed by white men. These girls are closer to the current Japanese emperor than the official cadet branches who held official status before 1947.

Hirohito the cuck did nothing while his royal relatives were executed by the US,driven to suicide by the US and imprisoned in a Soviet gulag and worked to death.

US had former 731 scientists do experiments with diseases on Japanese people in the 1950s like Japanese children in Kobe and Nagoya and an asylum in Niigata.

Japan had a sterilisation law imposed on them and 9 year old Japanese children were sterilised.

You forgot to mention the part where Japanese girls were mass prostituted to Allied troops in RAA and as panpan girls

And when the US had former Unit 731 scientist experiment on Japanese children and mentally ill in Kobe, Nagoya, Niigata

And Japanese being roasted to death in firebombings

Japan's excuse for avoiding unconditional surrender (to protect Hirohito) was complete bullshit and not part of Japanese culture.

It was legal in Japan to dethrone an emperor, Prince Oama did it to Prince Otomo in the Jinshan war and the northern court (Hirohito's ancestors) did it to the legitimate southern court emperors.

Japanese officers even threatened to overthrow Hirohito in the 1930s and replace him with his brother.

So Hirohito made up the excuse that he couldn't be dethroned just to protect himself

That's a lie designed to protect Hirohito and other close relatives. Hirohito could easily have been hung and replaced by a member of a cadet branch. The meme about protecting the institution of monarchy was a cover for protecting Hirohito. The main line of the Japanese Imperial family was in fact replaced by Hirohito's cadet branch centuries ago. Hirohito was a descendant of the Northern Court, which itself was the cadet branch of the Southern Court who are seen as the legitimate ones. Britain and France replaced Sultans, Kings, and Emperors in Zanzibar, Morocco, and Vietnam with one of the members of the cadet branches whenever one of them got out of line.

Kumazawa Hiromichi claimed descent from the legitimate Japanese Emperors of the Southern Court, accusing Hirohito, a descendant of the Northern Court Emperors of war crimes. Kumazawa Hiromichi demanded that Hirohito be dethroned as a war criminal and he himself become Emperor.

Hirohito was a descendant of the illegitimate Northern Court

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Court

In fact Japanese militarists at one point threatened to depose Hirohito and replace him with his brother Nobuhito as emperor.

All the cadet branches serving in the IJA were recent relatives from the northern branch since the 19th century. Read what I wrote again. Southern branch civilians came out and denounced Hirohito as a war criminal demanding he surrender the throne
