>>18754327Just fyi, Auschwitz had many separate camps. Some had political prisoners, pows, or undesirables who were being kept alive for slave labor. Hence the hospitals, and pregnant women. Only the sub-camp auschwitz-birkenau was where jews were being actively exterminated by the trainload in murder factories.I have not looked into this midwife story, but I assume she was at a hospital in one of the other camps.
