Why aren't we discussing the hottest topic right now? Realistically, what are we heading towards now? Are we going for picrel, or extinction? I think that it's clear that soon enough, essentially most if not all of the intellectual/cognitive labor we are currently used to doing, will be be done by AI, and physical labor will be done by robots (and before you start screeching and coping how that's not happening, I'm gonna assume you are a retard who doesn't use AI for anything, nor do you have any clue about the developments taking place already). So under that presumption, what will the society look like in 10, 20 or 50 years from now? What values will remain or hold for humans in a society where food and all basic needs are met automatically? How will we define our worth, role and purpose - both individually and collectively? The optimistic take would be that we are now heading for some kind of true spiritual ascension as a species, where Earth will become an entirely different kind of realm compared to what it has been until now, where we no longer have to toil to survive, but can focus our time and efforts on developing ourselves as individuals. That would be nice, but it's doubtful that we will just transition to that in the next 5 years. There are proponents of various forms of feudalism taking place (first). What's your take?
