When you guys are reading a history/philosophy book, do you usually read one book at a time? Or do you guys read multiple books at the same time?
>>
I usually end up reading multiple books at once because I run into a subject I want more context on so I start doing research on that and so on

I never heard about that but it's not a bad idea. Usually people read two books because they don't want to get bored of reading one book but this is a good option too

I just skim the title and flip through a couple of times and then listen to what other people who read the book before me think about it.

I skim Wikipedia articles and ask ChatGPT whenever I get stuck on something until I become a certified history expert
