Why do you guys use /his/? Genuine question, this place is irredeemable after 2020.
>>18772855it's the only place where i can anonymously argue with people about indo-europeanism
>>18772855I only really come here out of habit, and even then I find myself posting less and less since it just feels like the same group of retards and schizos posting each day
>>18772855All we need is a few more race bait threads and a few more users from the Indian subcontinent.
>>18772855For answering Christian topics to an audience that would otherwise not read the truth. In reality, Christians are painfully attacked for sharing the gospel or answers from the kjv bible, forcing them to stop. Unless you are a professional church pastor wearing a suit with a cross on it and holding a bible and going around preaching to everyone you come across, most Christians cannot share it because they are expected to just be like the world everywhere they go. And democrat party also used this to their advantage on the internet everywhere else. 4chan is the only place you are going to read or hear some of the most truthful words. That anyone can accept Jesus Christ to be saved. And no, it doesn’t make you a little brother to the Roman Catholics. I heard a Roman Catholic say this today, that only they are the big brother and get to decide who is christians. I’m equivalent to God in Christ Jesus which is in me, and it doesn’t make me a Protestant or a Roman Catholic. Just a Christian. The Protestant church was founded after Roman Catholics saw that they were in a pagan church and their reaction was to reform the Roman Catholic Church from within it, because they want to remain within the Roman Catholic Church, just as Protestants. Not every or all Christias want this. We are just Christians that believe the holy scriptures that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and he shed his own righteous blood on the cross for our sins. So that wipes out any meaningful resentment anyone has about anything or anyone. You’re supposed to forgive others and accept God’s forgiveness of your sins through His own and only Son, Jesus, so He can forgive yours. Otherwise He won’t. I know some people maintain unforgiveness in their hearts and choose to remember other people’s things they do. Sometimes they think someone did something to them when they didn’t, but they maintain this because they wish for boundaries between them and a Christian or another person.
>>18773016Christians are goofies and it's fun to dunk on them unfortunately I don't like when they are actually bummed out I like them to be firey opponents and not give up.
I wanna discuss religion
>>18772855Because Reddit is unbearable with its echo chambers and power tripping mods. And most other forums are completely dead. 4chan is ass but still far better than the alternatives.
/his/ is a great place to learn about an array of historical topics. We have all kinds of posters who bring their esoteric interests to light here. As someone who tries to learn all he can about every place and era, this is a goldmine.
>>18772855Arguing with willfully ignorant anons here allows me to anonymously satisfy the traumatic repetition compulsion I acquired from having to argue with my mother when I was little whenever she would look for excuses to displace her anger at other things onto me.
Meh, I give this board the respect it deserves (none at all) and only take people half-seriously. This board is like 70% banter about history and 30% actual history. Once you understand this, it becomes a fun place to just shoot the shit about philosophy and history sprinkled in with some schizophrenic religious esotericism
2020? heh! i was here in 2017 and it was trash then

>>18773180I know this doesn't mean much from an anonymous person, but I'm genuinely sorry that you had to grow up like that and I hope you find enough gratification in your current experiences to grow into the conversations you deserve in equity and peace
>>18772855Reddit’s history and literature subs are just way worse. It’s the only reason I stay on this garbage board. Their Plato board is just spam of YouTube pop history Philosphy videos summarizing Plato dialogues I already read.
>>18772855I don't know. I'm religious. Not fond of the overt amount of atheists being that I'm a former atheist. Though I get excited about threads regarding male/female relations, Soviet Russia, 17th century warfare and politics, and philosophy.

>>18772855This site has been irredeemable for years but I come by anyway because what are the alternatives for discussion?
