someone said my art is forgettable like if you saw it on social media you’d just scroll past it do you think this is true. honest critiques do you think my art is appealing or i need to work on it? i know the shapes read flat and i symbol draw a lot but i think its cool and stylish… when i try and draw more realistically i find it forgettable

only advice I can think of is use less purples and pink-like colors, and try experimenting with more uncommon color palettes, ones that could be appealing when used well, can only of greens and oranges rn

Its still /beg/ level and theres nothing in particular that catches your attention beyond that.
Reading more on proper anatomy could help you level up past that.

I see a good foundation but you need to get a bit uncomfortable with flexing poses, difficult lighting, and hard angles.
I feel it helps people push through a breakthrough.

agree. i've been doing stuff from this comfort zone of front and center camera (even if the subject matter is facing away like picrel) and I feel like I do struggle to imagine other camera angles or pov. i'll take this to heart for the future, and maybe i should start incorporating references... i struggle to imagine stuff and so i usually just draw from what i can easily uuhh. forsee
