someone said my art is forgettable like if you saw it on social media you’d just scroll past it do you think this is true. honest critiques do you think my art is appealing or i need to work on it? i know the shapes read flat and i symbol draw a lot but i think its cool and stylish… when i try and draw more realistically i find it forgettable

What even happened to the oc threads anyway, one day it was there then its been gone for like a year or two?
>>837596can’t speak for the others but for me i got full time employment that kills me so i have less time/energy than i did when i was a neet and running the threads, along with generally feeling like i was growing out of 4chan. as for the threads themselves they genuinely felt kinda circle jerky with less new posters posting to it and more of it looking like the same 5 or so people. i didn’t want to keep going like that and took a break from 4chan as especially like post covid all if it felt super shitty and there were a million more pedo threads it was gross. it’s still like that but not as bad as it was i think. i checked /v/ the other day and was so surprised they were actually talking about video games can you imagine…
idk how many people really think of me as the oc thread representative but i wasn’t the one who started them here, i only started posting on /i/ in 2017 and back then the oc threads were at like 8 or 9? I started picking them up around thread #10 i’m pretty sure, made the discord and kept the threads going because iii dunno. some grandiose ideal young people have. wanting to have a place for “creatives” or something like that. i’m not all that creative and most of what i draw is just what i like and that’s all.lately i feel like i don’t want an audience i don’t want to make stuff for other people i just wanna make and see what i like, cause nobody else makes anything i like. to hell with the community…. either way, i only picked up the oc threads when their owner wasn’t around. nothing’s stopping anyone else from filling my shoes on that front, but nobody ever did make another oc thread.

her name is natalie but she prefers to go by nate. at the start of the story shes a total loser with no friends, hikikomori with no aspirations other than to be the best at her favorite video games. she starts off kind of insufferable, kind of a brat and meanspirited but ends up developing into a well adjusted person.her older brother dies before the story begins and on the first day of her summer vacation. this messes her up as they were pretty close, though he was more athletic and more the type to make their parents proud than some shut in dweeb with middling/low grades. anyway, near the end of summer vacation she tries to find a way to communicate with her dead brother, going on strange occult websites and forums only to end up downloading a demon off the internet!!!some of this may or may not be based on personal events.
