The Tofoids
I was inspired by the Straight White Maliens to create a GELF (genetically engineered lifeform) species called the Tofoids, basically evolved hiveminds of Tofu Mold (Actinomucor elegans, Mucor sufu, Rhizopus ,and Mucor micheli) fused with basedbean curd with the Knights of Tempeh. The Tofoids were accidentally created by Bitebak Bio-Ag as an experimental project of fast maturing tofu molds that could produce low cost high protein tofu but rapidly evolved into a hostile matriarchal species seeking to liberate the galaxy of it's bipedalocrat andropressors.
