This thread is designed to be a space for women, by women. If you are not a XX chromosome woman, do not post in this thread. Not looking for male opinions, male art, discussions of men/male art, etc.NOTICE: The /fyi/ thread will complete evolution into /wao/ (Women's Art Oasis) after this transitional thread. We are rebranding this space to include female artists who may not necessarily be fujos, yumes, etc.Rules:>the males must be attractive>women must be drawn with the female-gaze in mind.>No /femboy/trans/cuntboy/traps/futa. Go to /salt/ for that.>If you want female advice on "how do I draw x" then go to /beg/. Nobody gives a fuck.>No male yurifags, no faceless dudes, no femboy, no shota/ loli, no futa, no guro, no derailing thread. Nothing created to appeal to the male gaze. Thank you.>If it does not serve women, it does not belong here.>If your bait isn't accompanied by your own work, we do not care.>If it reads like bait, don't respond. Just report.>Do not derail thread to discuss/debate what the female gaze should or shouldn't be. We do NOT care.>Our focus always has been, and always will be, supporting fellow women artists.Previous Thread: >>7849452
Anyone knows a good resource on how to draw frilly clothes?
>>7908273This is my favorite book on clothes, there's some pages on how draw frills.https://archive.org/details/howtodrawmangaco0000hika
ahem dog girl and orca bf... Her name is Cariño and shes a beach dog who owns a store and he (unnamed so far :/) is an apex predator orca who hunts for treats to bring her.
>>7908282Aww cute. Both are very cute and that boy has a hot design as well.
>>7908282That girl isn't female gaze enough her boobs are too big. Her shoulders are also far wider than her hips which gives her a male appearance. Is she trans femme?
>>7908561I mean yeah dog girls/puppygirls are a 4tran thing
For those who draw explicit porn, what kind of references and resources do you use?
>>7908253Eren again..>>7908282the orca has a very nicely V-shaped body on the bottom
>>7908845EREH>>7908282Cuties!!! I need to see them in color!!!
Doodled the amoeba girl... she isn't even my OC anymore, but I did design her kek
Drew my dragon boy Emile, maybe i will render it out soon idk :D >>7908282Doggirl and shark boy is just the cutest, loving the beach theme. >>7908845Very nice Eren , fren. Your renders skills are extremely good. >>7909108Amoeba girl is so adorable, I love the little floaties in her body, really adds visual interest to her design
>>7908791Anons, this is a serious question. Do you use references that are specifically for female-oriented porn, or am I going to watch hours of revolting porn just to find one angle that poorly resembles the one I have in mind? Female POV reference is probably the most difficult to find.
>>7908791>>7909393Mostly just random anatomy infographics/drawing guides and a random fuzzy mental library of things I've seen but can't remember.I'm too lazy to search for references, I usually just wing it, don't come close, frantically edit it until its more like what I imagined, still don't quite reach what I had in mind, give up, discard it, move on, never looking back.Falling short is learning in the long term. By now I'm getting closer on my first try when I try to wing something, and can kinda get there with some edits.I'm not scouring porn for hours looking for a specific reference, I'd rather spend those hours trying, failing and slowly improving my improv and imagination because it's more fun. Or more realistically, wasting those hours drawing something I'm already good at over and over instead of improving.
>>7909393I use my own experiences, other erotic art, and general anatomy/construction/gesture studies to build my own poses.
>>7909393Reference anon, just look at other art you like. This is the answer to 90% of all questions asked on this board.
>>7908253V from bee tee ess
>>7909557woke up and tried to make some general improvements to it
I meant to post these sooner, but here are some big men I drew on toned tan paper. I've just been on some tradchad timing recently lel
>>7910014Thank you for blessing us
I earnestly apologize in advance if this question is stupid, but I've recently been trying to create a cishet erotic dynamic between two characters that lent itself more to the appeal of women/feminine leaning individuals in general. Unfortunately, majority of the folks around me who can give me real insight are far more gender neutral and or guys. I've already design the characters. I think the girl's appearance actually went over well with women, but I'm worried the guy is far to weak and needs a lot of change. I know taste are subjective, but what are folks like yourselves often searching for when it comes to your cishet erotic imagery? Are there any specific themes that aren't outwardly erotic on their face that make things more titillating for you? I heard that girls have a thing for large hands and i didn't know if that was an over exaggeration or not.
>>7910014Amazing art, but>baraAnon, that genre is for gay men, it doesn't belong here.
>>7910172femanon here, what i like that i often see in women’s art that i don’t in men’s is an emotional interaction through body language and expression between the characters that make whatever sort of subjects are present in a couple dynamic feel like real people, rather than a depiction of the raw detached act itself with ultra-sexualized proportions and expressiveness when present only referring to physical stimulation, like the ahegaho<sp?> face, being used as the lever to make it succeed as a piece.i’m pretty sure little physical changes you’re told like large hands wouldn’t change your reception significantly, it’s more subtle fundamental things like the above that might help you. your question’s not even a little stupid, it’s quite insightful. thanks for just giving an ask. good luck!
>>7910182Alright, so detach my mind from the purely bodily and stimulation base of male stimulated art and bring my mind more into the mental/emotional dynamic of things. I think I understand what you mean by facial expressions as well at least from what I've seen in the male gaze oriented porn space. A lot of them are so extreme that they lack any type of subtly or softness/rawness. Thank you so much for your insight.Would you might telling me how you specific typically enjoy your male characters? I have a stereotypical visual in my head, but that's just based off of what I've seen from the small amount of female spaces I'm in. (Generally RP) Would it be safe to say that the area between both handsome and somehow still femininely pretty is a good pocket to say in?
Woah!! Hook, line, and sinker! This bait is amazing!
Nonas I love you but please read the rules
>>7910178It's literally in the OP image...
>>7910220Just being overly cautious, you'll have to forgive me. I don't belong here after all lol.
Made the cutest cowgirl yesterday, if I wasn't so sick I would've colored her but now >>7909557>>7909883good art as usual >>7910014beautiful thicc juicy glistening big men as usual >>7910189>>7910198lovely doodles :D
>>7910189Cute!!!>>7909557I like your style of rendering... very soft and nice>>7909268Thank you :)Those floaties in her body are mitochondria/cellular information/contractile vacuoles/food vacuoles I wanted to make her true to the real thing cause I thought she'd be cooler that way. >>7910232I love her design... adorable asf
>>7910014Based tradstacy...Your work is beyond insane...
>>7910201Maybe I'm misinterpreting the thread's guidelines, considering this'll soon be /wao/ and accept all kinds of art made by women, so taste will be even less relevant. I'm sorry for disturbing the thread.
>>7910313Are you a woman?
>>7910305I'll look into! I'm honestly not a very typical porn artist when it comes to my character creation so I might already be in this ballpark, but it will be helpful to study
>>7910321Yes
>>7910359Then you're not disturbing
>>7910172>cishet>gender neutralGo back
>>7910383Every single female community corrects my language into this. I'm just not trying to offend anyone.
>>7910387That’s because society expects women to be “nice,” so a lot of women force themselves to believe in gender ideology because they’re told it’s the “nice” thing to do. And that’s why we need this place, because the women who secretly don’t believe in trans want to find each other without having to bow to men who think they’re women and and vice versa. Thank you for trying to be nice, but also if you’re not a women you shouldn’t post in this thread (see rules at top)
>>7910392>and vice versa>womanSorry, forgot to proofread
>>7910392I understand and will leave. I was just hoping to snag some insight if I could, but I can't in earnest lie about my sex (I'm a straight dude trying to figure out what woman, like in their pairings). Sorry for the invasion and thank you so much for informing me a little more about the gender ideology thing. it's extremely helpful in expanding my mindset on women.
>>7910397I can't tell if this is satire or not.
Stupid doodle I made for an April Fool's thingWhere drawings?
>>7910397Sometimes I read books written from a much, much earlier times, written by straight males. And sometimes, the descriptions they make of their other straight, male friend can get meticulously detailed, it's oddly romantic. Males have it in them, maybe the modern world scrubbed it out of their emotional vocabulary. But you know, I've got testimonial that the inability to grasp the poetic nature of relationship isn't a biological threshold.
WIP. She is a lioness with a bit of a scaredy-cat personality. Very affable, but I'd like to think she can kick ass when the situation calls for it.

>>7910185very sorry anon, took a while to get a reply to you because the local power’s been out for most of today. it went out while i was typing your (you), so here’s a paste of what I’d gotten down then:>[it’s cold…]-sure! i specifically appreciate literally all body types, it’s all about the non-physical character traits to me, so not much help there. <in an isolated scene with unfamiliar characters, this’d come down to if they look emotionally invested. then i’d feel emotionally invested in the art, too.> but you sound exactly right, i think, in that the general preference for the majority of females is>handsome and somehow femininely prettyby the way, i haven’t played it, but maybe look up that one gatcha game i see everywhere that all the females really like for a really basic idea that hits mainstream preferences: honkai star rail. it’s the first example that most females consistently respond well to that comes to mind, and it stays consistent with your thoughts on female preferences. if you want to appeal to the widest audience, it’d probably look something like that. if you want to appeal to younger women, maybe make your male characters more twink-like and even more feminine in their facial features, sometimes with ornamentation or fashionable dress, <like think k-pop stuff,> and if you want to appeal to older females, your male characters might be more rugged and mass more, <and more mature features like for example facial hair can be appreciated by older audiences.>just thoughts. you’ve got this, dude. :)
lovely work as always ladies. been so sick and horny have a wip
