Why you should not trust youtube shills:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VH1WEYF8rlAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twy5Wo8m284Do not worry pressure levels. 1024 is more than enough.Remember to ignore all chinese shills. You will see dozens upon dozens of posts in this thread by a chinese schizo shill, who will either be bitching about the OP, gaslighting as a Wacom fan, making pointless spam posts or giving terrible advice (like recommending Huion). I dunno i like my small huion
>>7925255I thought drawing with a capacitive stylus on a cheap tablet without active stylus support would be a subpar compromise, but to my surprise my experience has been great and I haven't felt the need to "upgrade" at all, this was a nice surprise.
So have the chong brands gotten any better over the years or
>krita now has HDR displaySo, is there a tablet that displays HDR yet? Preferably HDR1000
>>7926027gimmick
I was thinking of getting the s10 lite but I would probably just trade it in for like s12 later in the year and knock off like $20 bucks.
>>7925999yeah, most of wacom patents expired so the other brands are 90% as good for half the price.just buy from amazon for better return policies in case you get a bad unit.
Getting a wacom intuos medium? Would the pro version be a good investment?
Anyone here with a Xppen Deco LW/L? I've read it has some diagonal wobble. How bad is it?
>>7927680Don't care still want one.If your hand isn't glowing due to the brightness of the actually, physically bright sun you're drawing then you might as well stop drawing altogether and play with matchbox cars.
I’m using a tablet without touch, and Wacom express remote. How are we supposed to rotate the canvas in different directions fast without pressing the rotate button on the software ? I feel like touch is needed. I’m considering getting an iPad Pro.
>>7927886You have a remote. Program rotate to one of the buttons.
>>7926027>>7927680>yes, please triple the file size of my PNG for full human color range that won't really be apparent to the naked eye and will also cause compatibility issues with certain devices.remember when samsung phones would get bricked if you set a non-sRGB wallpaper?
>>7927931>won't really be apparent to the naked eye
>>7927930So rotate left and right on the buttons or keep it on the touch wheel?
>>7927967This video isn't playing on my computer
>>7928028Upgrade your browser from NetScape.
>>7925255forgive me for huion posting but i have the most insufferable issue ever and wondering if anyone has come across it? going to just return the tablet if i cant get it sorted, but essentially:whenever the USB portion of my 3-in-1 cable is plugged into my pc, i get this insane stuttering that means i cant even complete a full circle with the line breaking and glitching straight - as in, not following my movement.
>>7931062I can't help you unfortunately but which model is that? I want to avoid getting it.
>>7931066oh yeah i gave very little details oops -i bought a refurbished huion kamvas 16 gen 3.. it's a shame because i had a pro 24 before this which i loved and had virtually no problems with u.u
>>7931062does it do it in other programs?
>>7931069it does it across my entire pc - it affects my mouse too. its like every 3-7 seconds theres that micro stutter. if i move my mouse in a circle i get the exact same effect, its not exclusive to the pen / clip studio. and it *only* occurs when the USB portion of the 3-in-1 cable is plugged in. if the hdmi and the power cable are in it wont happen, if the usb cable goes into my pc it will happen. I have also tried every single port, ive tried freeing up USB slots, ive even swapped cables thinking that was the issue but alas.
>>7931062have you tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them ?
really tempted to get the movink 14 pro but i will sit my goy ass down and restrain myself from making unnecessary purchases
>>7931174about a million times, also no different to when i use open tablet drivers either
YO I'm planning to buy a screened can anybody confirm if using it without the display like a normal pen tablet has lag? I only want to use it for detailing
>>7925259Which device is this?
>>7927886Learn to draw without rotating
>>7931178>no ProcreateA waste of money
>>7933375I use Krita on the desktop anyways so I would feel right at home : - )but also even on the ipad i use fresco and not procreate
>>7933376Adobe Fresco is also iPad only
>>7933383and so is procreate. what I was trying to say that even using the only product that supports procreate I would still not chose procreate.hope this clears things up for you
>>7933386But there is nothing else that is good in a tablet
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyRYpdkTKOEI gotta get a 27 incher
https://a.co/d/01zk4UblIs this good for a total /beg/ like me?
>>7933593Unironically too damn big, the touch screen seems nice though.
>>7933593I don't trust XP Pen with anything more expensive than a Deco pen tablet
>>7933743You only say that because you got a small table
Hey bros, trying to get a drawing tablet but I want a bigger screen with a higher res than the 15.6 inch display on my old XP-Pen Artist. I was thinking about trying Huion Kamvas 22(Gen3). My budget is around $750. Anyone try this model?https://a.co/d/0cxsEJh9
>>7934797I have the Huion 27 Pro (60hz). It has Pen Tech 4.0.I really do like it. Before i bought it, i had a huion with pen tech 3, and the pressure response/initial activation force sucked. I genuinely just took a gamble buying the 27 and dont regret it, its really great. If it was bad i was going to return it lol. What i like is that it also came with a fat and thin pen, so i didnt have to buy a thin pen which is my preference.
>>7931178it was goy ass unnecessary purchase for me. But i like it much more than ipad for drawing. for rest tablet and computing stuff its like bad to really bad. And wish screen coating was more rough. I like pen and paper and coming from that its pain to use, so slippery
>>7934896Use the felt tip for the stylus if you aren't doing so already.
>>7934840I wish theyd make some pentech 4.0 inspiroys or something, been using a kamvas pro 24 4k for a few years now but recently switched to using a inspiroy 2 L because I like screenless tablets better>why on earth would you do thati can lean back in my chair and relax with the tablet on my lap, its also more convenient when using it with blender since I never liked dragging blender over to the kamvas. I'm also one of those people that arent bothered by the disconnect it introduces and I hated having to wear drawing gloves so I wouldnt smudge the screen.
>>7925255I'm between getting a XP Pen Deco 01 V3 or a Wacom Intuos Pro. I've read XP Pen got higher pressure sensitivity numbers, but what about quality, does it hold just as good or even better than a wacom?
So how bad exactly is the fan on the Cintiq Pro 27? Should I wait for Wacom to make a fanless version?
>>7935941I've got a Deco 01 V3 and a Wacom One (screen, 13.3 inch) I bought in 2023. I don't see a difference in terms of pressure sensitivity. In fact, the most glaring difference between the two is how hard I have to press on the Deco 01 compared to the Wacom. In terms of drawing accuracy or wobbling or whatever, I don't notice a difference.
>>7935941i used to use an intuos pro L for 6 years but I recently switched to a xenselabs for half the price and i don't think im ever gonna go back until wacom realizes $500 for a screenless tablet is insane when everyone else is charging 1/10-1/2 that for the same thing
Still using my 21UX. Feels good.
>>7936281>the most glaring difference between the two is how hard I have to press on the Deco 01Really? could it be a settings thing? wacom's factory settings makes pressing harder than it should.>>7936314Price is a good point too.
My campus has a professor selling a used Cintiq 27QHD in good condition for $300, should I get it? My current tablet is a Huion
>>7936425I just read about it and it turns out the Deco 01 has a higher IAF than other tablets of its time. (The V3 seems to be basically identical to its predecessor)
>>7936457what kind of huion? if you mean a recent kamvas pro then no unless you have something like a 13 or 16". if its an older one thats still on pentech 2.0 then sure
I found a listing of Wacom Intuos Pro small (pth460 or something) in mint condition for $115. Is that a fair price or should I lowball it?
do i?
>>7936531>higher IAF>10 times the amount you need on a wacom (3 gr)It's remarkable, but does it make a change in the real world?, I mean, 30 gr of force is still quite short.
>>7936808It's very noticeable to me. It doesn't make it harder to draw or anything like that, but it's less pleasant. It feels like I have to press forcefully to do what light gliding does on the Wacom. I'd also say the nibs would wear out faster, but you can get bags of like 50 of those, so.
Sorry for asking here, I'm a total beginner and I want a pen display just for doodling. I saw a xp-pen artist 12 (2nd gen) on fb marketplace, is it any good? My main usage is just for making handwritten fonts for manga scanlation.
>>7936703an intuos pro small is incredibly tiny and basically only meant for use on 13" laptops by people too dumb to buy a huion or xp-pen
my cintiq just arrived but i don't have a usb-c port or a mini-hdmi - hdmi cable cause i'm not a laptopmongrel this is bullshit, they don't even send you nibs or gloves it's just the fucking screen without the essential cables EL OH EL >>7936795Are you a woman? Yes. Are you not a woman? No get the 19 incher, you don't need a stand the screen already comes with one of the best stands attached to it
Just upgraded to a 13 inch ipad pro from an ipad mini 6, its like 2 lbs and 2.5x the size. Any stand or mount recommendations, seems to be very little credible information online...
>>7938148Parblo PR 100, it has great stability and viewing angles
Has anyone noticed how fucking awful the drawing surface in wacom intuos is? I first bought one in around 2018, that lasted a few years before an area on the tablet straight up wouldnt draw. I then bought a basically brand new intuos from a thrift store and it didn't even last a year before theres multiple spots on the tablet that won't pick up my drawing. This is not an issue of me pressing too hard or not changing nibs. Also recs for a new screenless tablet dont rec gaomon I've tried them they SUCK
Is there any 3d printing files of button cover for Intuos5L? mine is falling off due of its age
>>7931062Check your USB cable specifications, I had this issue with my XP pen tablet that I tracked down to the cable. In my case my tablet needs USB 3.1 gen 1 at least superspeed at 5gb/s I bought a longer cable and it only registers as high speed which is 480 mb/s. I could not find anything on the Internet about this. With any hubs or splitting in between could exasperate this issue. On the Internet artists always say defective send back or reinstall the drivers. You have to buy a properly rated USB cable which I have found to be a massive pain in the ass as cables on Amazon don't really show this information. Usually the one that comes with it will be properly rated. You can also double check in the OS for what speed your cable is connected at.
>>7939076To add to this, in my case with that big speed differential I got massive stuttering a lot more then yours. What I would do, is if your using a different cable then the one it came with plug that one in and see if the problem still persists. If it doesn't then check the speeds registered by the OS of each of the cables. What's frustrating is that it fails silently with no warning to the user. There's nothing to bubble up from the driver of it failing to transfer data fast enough, so I assume it just silently drops USB frames and you get stuttering.
>>7933095>shit-talks on an entire brand of tablets>too much of a pussy to name the device so that people can avoid it
>>7925259>>7939677>Calibrates the device like a retard>DUDE the stylus doesn't line up! So much for Chinese tablets. This video doesn't prove anything.
hey tabletheads,I was looking at buying a new laptop for writingbut it occurred to me that since laptop keyboards suck I could instead buy a tablet + nice bluetooth keyboard and have a better typing experience while also doubling as a drawing device.is that a stupid idea y/n?
Are 8th gen iPads still alright for drawing with Procreate? What benefits would I be sacrificing over an iPad Pro other than screen size?
Good stand for Wacom CTL-6100K-B? I want to keep the tablet at an angle so I'd stop resting my forearm on the desk, it restricts my shoulder movement.
>have ipad pro and galaxy tab ultra>ended up just going back to my kamvas 22 plus1080p SUCKS but having a big canvas and being able to draw with my arm can't be beat.
Considering buying a refurbished high-end tablet, as an upgrade. Are there any preferred sites for refurbished tablets, or should I just hit up Ebay and return it if it's shit?
