CRAB inches ever closer to it's May 17th starting date! New entries still are being accepted!>What is this?CRAB is an OCT where artists submit their OCs and participate in a three-round tournament where they are pit against an opponent to fulfill a prompt's task over the other. There are three rounds and thus three prompts that an artist must fulfill featuring their OC facing off against another OC using the theme and prompt as their guideline for content.>How many people will be participating? There is a maximum threshold of 50 participants.>How long will this take? From May 17th to Aug 25th. There's breaks to stop people from burning out between rounds but generally worktime for each main round is 2 weeks. >Random art battles?CRAB has had animations, VNs, DOOM.WADs, and more submitted as entries in the past, that's where the 'random art' comes from.>How does this work?Main organization is done on Discord but it is not a requirement if you want to stay thread-only, however you do have to host your entries on Cubari or other image hosts to be voted on by other participants. Every voting round will have a provided list available with links to read every entry as easily as possible.
To join you have to draw your OC defeating Houndclops here, minimum of three pages to enter.

If you don't have the time to participate but would still like to make an impact, why not consider s Spectator role instead?Spectators only need to submit a character reference sheet and a drawing of their character reacting to the tournament characters entries/content. This position comes with the benefit to vote for entries in the voting rounds, granted weighted less compared to a contestant's vote. This role requires less art than a general contestant but still does require art especially when casting votes so keep that in mind if you'd like to join as a Spectator!
Finally my last resource, the character reference sheet template. Good luck to all you current and potential contestants!
CRAB 5 is almost here folks

>>7939871We just had this shitass thread already >>7893494 and you losers only showed /ic/ that you offer nothing but autistic fucking drama. Who needs /crab/ when the oc threads is right here and art fight is a fraction of the effort and just around the corner.
>>7939901TrukeDrama/infighting has no place on this board anyways and should be gotten rid of immediately. These threads are even more worthless than /beg/, but at least the faggots in /beg/ improve.
