If you've actually reached this point then you should just give up because there's absolutely no way
someone who truly desires to pursue art has absolutely no clue what they want to draw.
You KNOW what you want to draw, you just don't have the ABILITY because you haven't put in the WORK.
You probably WANT to draw big breasted and shapely ninja girls with face masks throwing kunai's and casting jutsus, but instead of actually trying to draw those things (because you're likely too intimidated to try) you're on your 10,000th three-dimensional box, loomis head, and gesture from some lame ass .zip full of references.
Newsflash, that's not drawing, that's not REALLY putting in the work. That's "grinding mindlessly".
The point of those fundamental exercises like boxes, loomis heads, and gestures is to break down a subject in to it's simplest three-dimensional forms; which acts as a memorable and consistent template an artist can use TO REPLICATE A PARTICULAR SUBJECT WITHOUT A REFERENCE.
I don't need a reference anymore to draw 100 basketballs if I know how to draw a sphere.
I don't need a reference anymore to draw 20 coke cans if I know how to draw a cylinder.
etc..
Your artistic mind and eye is weak and atrophied because you don't exercise it. You can't draw what you think, and that's why you're not having fun.

...Otherwise if none of this applies to you then - again - give up and find another hobby.
