I feel like my main reason for wanting to start to draw is to become good at something, not necessarily because because I have a passion for art. I just wanna feel competent for once in my life. But that's not really a good sustaining driver is it? I'll prolly throw the towel early bc of that
>art is Shuzo Oshimi

you could become good at something much more profitable instead
art is kind of a crazy choice in terms of effort vs reward, but it makes sense if you truly love it

How the fuck have you managed to turn your sole source of motivation into an excuse for not doing it before you even start

Look homie, Just draw and think about it later. As you draw, you may start having fun with it, maybe not. You only have one life, don't spend it doubting yourself, spend it doing however much you can.

the human brain is good at making excuses. You lived this long without drawing, why start now and potentially die for it?

You are chosing an extremely hard field, and probably only talented people are the ones who can make it.
Freelancing is not profitable, and the employed job is souless due to AI.

Well good luck mate, drawing is one of those things where if you don't have the talent, you better have passion or determination. If your only goal is to get good at drawing, if you don't have any semblance of talent, be prepared for a lot of struggling
