Is Atsushi Ohkubo a good mangaka to emulate as a beginner artist if I want to base off my art style on his own or should I pick someone with a more semi-realistic anatomically correct art style? I already draw from life often and just started picking up loomis and such for basic figure drawing

>>7954182I think his art is way too stylized to just copy and learn from it, especially Soul Eater. It is never bad to imitate to learn, though. And it might be fun to draw pages of his manga or his illustrations. But you will need to supplement with other studies, specially anatomy. /asg/ has and /beg/ have a bunch of materials.
>>7954335My ideal would be someone who still draws in a similarly cartoonish and stylish art style but still has master tier fundamentals and overall realistic and detailed anatomy. Another artist I would love to study from but could also be regarded as too stylized in the same way is Rui Araizumi
