almost guaranteed really. aspiring artists would draw with sticks in mud, then go on to paint on walls. art was still media that served a purpose back then, these people werent stupid, they almost never painted humans beyond small silhouettes because these paintings of animals were learning tools, what to avoid, predators, where to aim and kill, prey. If you actually go look at cave paintings irl most of them look like shit. Literally scribbles and children's drawings. They just take pictures of the best ones. Also, imo they probably painted mostly on exposed rocks and cliff faces which have been erased by the weather. Only the good artists would paint in the cave where they lived and had to look at it all the time.

Why do they draw with blood? Why didn't they use Copic markers?
