>a 200k follower artist I'm mutual with that used to do art commissions full time now has a day jobOther than making money are there other reasons to keep drawing
Have you tried having fun
>>7960098kill yourself
>>7960096If you feel like you’ve been called by God and you have an idea that you need to create, you’ll keep drawing anyway. You have to feel the compulsion to finish the mission. If you don’t have that then yeah I guess you’re just fucked.
A real job or the bare minimum of part time so the bank stops thinking you're a drug dealer and you get healthcare. Because there's an entire income bracket where you kind of make enough to live on but everything is a pain because the paperwork still says you're a bum, you can't rent anything, you can't borrow 3k for a car, the tax man wants to know where all that money you're spending comes from and why it's heroin, etc.At my last job the mail guy was some FFXIV streamer or something, he made more having some bunny girl jump up and down in an MMO than I did with my fancy degree but according to him unless you earn twice the minimum wage you're better off wagecucking, if only for the perks.
Do you guys even like drawing? I genuinely wonder sometimes
>>7960096What do they draw?
>>7960134I like art, I just don’t like how it doesn’t offer any reprieve from this recession we’re in.
>>7960096>a 200k follower artist I'm mutual withand? does he pay your rent?
>>7960134Nobody likes drawing, retardIt's an addiction
>>7960096Followers rarely equal money anymore, if they ever didI've seen 150k accounts barely make 200 a month on patreon
>>7960262Nah, there are tons of people who actually do love it. You just won't find any of them on /ic/. The people who love it all started as kids and didn't have to beg for study materials from the bitter crabs in this godforsaken wasteland.
>>7960098Can fun buy food? If you're not making money you're not having fun.
