Photobash a background, or just use a normal photo. If you really want to draw something, maybe try being impressionistic rather than clearly drawing everything. You could go even further than that and say if your setting is sci-fi'ish or cyberpunk, you could add elements that feel complementary to the setting even if they're not structurally sound at first glance.
