I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how anti-AI a lot of normies are. Even in random non-artist spaces you'll find people shitting on AI art, telling people to only post human art, etc. There are lots of people who are pro-AI too, but nonetheless it is something that people are genuinely divided on. I'm glad that people aren't just apathetic.The anti-AI fervor reminds me a LITTLE of the woke twitter mobs who are always trying to browbeat people over racism and sexism. But honestly I don't care. If the power of the mob can be used for good then so be it, I'm totally on board. I'd rather live under the rule of the 300lbs pink haired feminists than the rule of the AI jeets.

That's the problem with 'Perfection' you don't get any real personality with the art which is why people do not like AI art, you told a computer what to do idc how many attempts and edits you've done you still just told a computer to do something, that's not impressive. I do believe that AI can find a place in comedy skits that someone thinks of off the top of their head, something like how the daily show used photoshopped pictures to enhance a punchline. It's bland enough and good enough for that kind of stuff. Human beings absolutely adore beautiful things made by human hands when the love and care exudes through their work, and you lose all of that with AI.
Is it all that surprising? Generative AI's best use case is scamming, lying and being a cheapskate. The only useful AI is in niche applications and normies don't give AF about those.
