The lasso tool is cheating

I prefer the rape tool

The lasso tool is based actually

Digital is cheating
>>
>>7965034
you can't even create hard edges the regular way so why are you talking
>>
Wait until this guy learns about painter's tape and stencils.
>>
>>7965034
I basically agree. At the very least, I think that someone who consistently gets good results on paper is more skilled than someone who has to use lasso/resize constantly on digital to make it look right
>>7965044
Not the same thing. There’s no trad equivalent of being able to resize infinitely
>>
>>7965220
Wait until this guy learns about numbers and multiplication
>>
I'm cheating with your mom.
>>
>>7965220
Comparatively, artists rarely use lasso tool to resize as much as they do for hard edges/shapes/shading. It only shows how ignorant you are to digital techniques
>>
There is no cheating.

Only results.

t. AI jeet
>>
Tradgods don't NEED lasso :P
>>
>>7965244
neither do digital artists, it just makes their work faster. Idk ive seen plenty of arguments by trads, this is literally one of the weakest ones to try to use as some kinda gotcha.

>There’s no trad equivalent of being able to resize infinitely
vast majority of digital artists only use it to resize during the sketch phase, and all that does is save you like 30 seconds of redraw in trad. It's not the crazy cheat you think it is.

What are you doing with the lasso too exactly? I use it constantly. But mainly to clean up my lines
>>
>>7965295
To define forms. It's just a very easy and quick way to create transitions between hard and soft edges meaning once you get good at it, you can render out complex forms with ease but layering and interlocking, erasing, etc. You just visualize the form and trace the form your see in your head, then use a soft brush to to render a plane and so on and so forth.

Yes. It. Is. Also what the fuck is a projector then???
>>
>>7965034
I don't understand how to use layers or fancy tools like the lasso
I just kinda wing it and it's really annoying when I want to colour something
Before you ask, yes, I am clinically retarded
>>
>>7965465
You are 100% right, I just suck ass at coloring and use filters as a crutch

Guess we can definitely say that all digital program tools are just ones that have already been invented in reality.

i've actually never used the lasso tool because i'm too stupid to figure it out and never bothered learning. i just use brushes with 0% opacity and color underneath solid line art.

drawing with your shoulder is cheating.
think about it, you have much less control and straight and smooth lines comes out automatically so those lines aren't actually something that you did.
>>
If you really think about it having functioning arms is cheating
>>
None of you are nearly as funny or clever as you think
>>
>>7965034
Using any 'tool' is cheating. If you need something outside of yourself you didn't do it.
>>
Doing any sort of studying or research whatsoever is cheating.
