this is driving me nuts, at which stage do i lose the energy?? I feel like its slowly over each one. am I picking the wrong sketch lines? rendering it incorrectly? ughh
>>7967034The fact that you have this open in MS Paint and also some general weirdness in the drawing makes me think this is AI
>>7967037if AI draws like that then it's over
>>7967039Have you been living under a rock? Yes it draws like that, in any style you want
>>7967034You made many important changes in the rendering that contradict your sketch. I no particular order. >the steering wheel loses the foreshortening> The Mass of the drivers chest is flattened from the rounded form you had. >The Highlights on the metal do not reflect the orientation of the planes of the car. >The extra nagtive space above the car does not help the composition. There's probably other things, but generally this effect happens when the "Cleanup Decisions" do not have a strong relationship to the sketch decisions, which for most beignners are arbitrary, shortsighted, and sometimes just flat out nonsensical.
Ok I guess it’s all just bots responding to bots at this point
>>7967055Kill yourself nigger
>>7967037what weirdness? I have this open in MS paint to lay out the layers together / screenshots as quick and dirty compression / lowkirk bait engagement.
>>7967044>the steering wheel loses the foreshorteningit wasnt supposed to be foeshortened head on no?>The Mass of the drivers chest is flattened from the rounded form you had.that was just tuned later cause i made her a specific character>The Highlights on the metal do not reflect the orientation of the planes of the car.i did not even try there I cant lie>The extra nagtive space above the car does not help the composition.thats probably troo yeah
>>7967084>it wasnt supposed to be foeshortened head on no?Fair, but you did diminish the curve of the wheel, indiciating that the driver side is slightly further from the camera than the passenger side, but that effect is lost. In fact the entire compositon is fighting between Front facing and turned slightly towards the passegner side. >that was just tuned later cause i made her a specific characterThat's fine, but it doesn't seem as though it was tuned to the rest of the drawing. Almost as if the character details became more important than their role in the composition. It's a fine picture, but the "Problem" of losing energy as you work is univeral, and based on keeping the simple statement of the sketch all the way through the work.
>>7967034I have a suspicion that it involves the driver's eyes and hair. Initially, the eyes are simple and the darkest strokes in the sketch. In the end, the elements of the eye are broken into many pieces, and the surrounding hair is noisy. The strong and irregular interior lines within the hair, in particular those two large shadows, all compete with the originally bold and prominent form of the eyes.I'll bet the clothing plays a part, too. Look for the darkest elements in your second drawing. Each of the two cuffs and the neck shadows are nearly a match for the eyes in terms of weight.I'm no wizard, though. Just a suspicion.
>>7967034>made up bullshit for attentionwhy are AI bros like this?
>>7967034It's just about getting it into hand specially if you are beginner everything feels like eternity to finish later you pick up speed and what took 2 hours will take half an hour to finish well unless you spot some mistakes and you start banging your head against wall and try to fix them.
>>7967123I don't think OP is saying:>I get tired polishing my drawing.OP is saying:>My initial sketch conveys some dynamic feeling which is somehow lost in the completed drawing.I initially interpreted it the same way, though.
>>7967118They REALLY get off hard on "tricking" people into looking at and commenting on AI art as if it were real art
>>7967142It's like gay men who pretend to be women on dating apps asking for your dick pic then ghosting you when you refuse and or send the pic.
>>7967034This is definitely AI. How would I know this? Look at the hair!
