I can't explain it. This is my favorite cover art of all time. The large amount of white space to place focus on the characters. The implication that these are two sides of the same person. The way the characters phase into each other. The mysticism inside the cloak. The text placement, font, and colors catching your eyes while not overshadowing the art.I recognize this isnt the most amazing piece of artwork ever created but something about its simplicity while capturing everything it needs to just speaks to me.
