No, it seems kinda pointless. Drawing is hard work, you need your brain to be operating at 100% capacity.

stims are the drug of choice for the artist. psychoactive ones as well as long as they dont dow you as well, like certain herb strains will do.

alcohol is bad for the process, but a good choice for after to wind down and give yourself some pleasure/reward.

No. I draw significantly worse when inebrietad.

I get really sleepy when I drink, so I'm in no mood to draw when doing so.
The one I tried, and only because I was curious if I could, I drew terribly.

Pencil sketching becomes really easy becaused of the loosened feeling you get from drinking I've found

Yes I take my sketch book to a local bar on the weekends. I listen to music and just draw. I just get a IPA, a shot and a soda.

I've found that having a wee buzz can keep me focused and enjoy the process of drawing/painting a bit more. But it's a risky gambit, the second the buzz turns to tipsy, it's game over.

I used to draw at coffee shops all the time and I had tonnes of interactions, I imagine there would be even more interaction at a pub

i draw way worse when im drunk but i think i draw better when im high. i have a sketchbook i only draw in when im on some kind of substance which is fun to flip through

I can play vidya when drunk but drawing just gets more difficult the drunker I am, so no, not worth it

related might be drawing while listening to music, you technically don't focus on lines but, you might keep going

I used to draw drunk in high school and got better grades for the drawings. Good times before i got addicted and as i aged the booze turned my brain to mush

Yeah but I learned to never do it with linework.

i have never knowingly consumed alcohol at any point in my life. alcohol literally rots your brain over time, even in moderation. i'm almost 28 now, but i want to live long enough to see genetic enhancement and real anti-aging medicine become a thing, because i don't believe in an afterlife.

i like to draw spaceships and commission art of sexy anthro wolf girls and fox girls, but jannies would throw a little hissy fit if i shared that. i most recently commed a second mina the hollower piece from venezuela, which i can share. it's not very good but i only spent $70 on it. i want to plap GMO animal girls in 2300 AD

I've had way too many (relative) recently and it does the opposite and rapes your brain in so many ways. I can't handle my vices though so maybe if you have better self-control. Please stay smart

Yeah I was drunk almost all the time for months and had seizures when I tried to quit. Worked on my comic.
