>>7972578Then playlist few youtube videos, play-pause-copy-play repeat.
>>7972578It just takes practice, even if your first few boxes are bad you'll improve over time. Open up Blender and just spin the cube around and copy what you see.
>>7972578there's multiple elements of art you need to work on and you happen to struggle with perspective specifically
I'm too retarded to make use of boxes. Even if I draw one correctly, I don't really get any sense of depth from it, and can't intuitively draw something inside of it or anything. It's just a smattering of lines arranged in such a way that they create a clever illusion, and I'm not going to fall for my own illusion. I can clearly see that they're just some flat lines.I also have no idea how to modify them in any way. It I want one corner to be rounded or to have a hole in it or something, I have no idea how to do that. Even if I look at or copy examples of other people doing stuff like that, I just can't seem to take anything away from it.
>>7972578Then it's a good thing you probably want to draw something other than boxes
>>7973094…but if you can’t draw a decent box then you probably can’t draw a decent anything else either.
Same
>>7973097Actually everybody has had to find the "thing" they're wired to draw, your thing is like a seed crystal that everything else grows from. Once you find your "thing" it clicks into place and then the amount of subjects you can draw keeps growing. You just gotta keep trying different subjects and one day you'll finish a drawing and realize that somehow you got it, that's because that was your seed crystal. That's why some people get caught up chasing once subject or style and never learn. They didn't cast a broad enough net. Never caught their thing.
