>>7973614I’m not mad I’m asked this because it lets me talk about my character design, which I enjoy doing.There are a few reasons why I draw her arms and stomach hairy. One being that I think it allows for some environmental storytelling considering her normal ribbed short long sleeve dress outfit only shows her legs, so she feels no need to shave her arms or stomach. Second being that I think having some visible texture adds to the overall character I want my art style to have. Her dress being hiked up to show a happy trail contributes a lot to the humor I feel like.Third, I think by having it, it gives her something that particularly makes her stand out. I’m sure you could name many lady characters with red rosy cheeks, but maybe not as many who also have noticeable arm and stomach hair.

I'd seen complains about the lack of screen time for Skater but I think it's just enough for a one minute animation.Beach Volleyball Winner: Liddell I liked the flow of Liddell's comic, even if the Volleyball part was not as prominent. I've never been a promp loving guy so I don't care. The jokes were actually great. Liddell being a little shit, dumb Rachel, stressed Rachel and my favorite was the breastfeeding joke with Ocho and bucket. Unlike mine that one was one hundred times great, that sold me on the whole comic. Bonus for making everything look so pretty with such a minimalistic style. Pros sure are built different. I hope we can get more Liddell fanservice for the next match.Rachel's was very good too. She focused on the prompt and the game was way better in hers. The gifs work perfectly here because they are not used for fights but for sports. Still, both players characterized their opponents perfectly and had great chemistry.
Pearl HarborWinner: PierPier's was just better at everything except on raw drawing skill. Even then the drawings transmitted a way greater sense of spectacle, the plane fights were way clearer and entertaining. Eduard with the potion fuckery was pretty smart. The selling point was the Agent Snow flashback. The possibility of Pier losing Snow for cowardice hits hard. I love that couple.I find hard to find anything Kabloowie did better than Pier besides pretty drawings. Even Snow's death doesn't hit hard because it doesn't look specially painful or tragic. She will be revived next round so it's got the dramatic weight of a Dragon Ball death. Kabloowie actually got the cruelest and most undeserved death because she was under the potion effect, but I'm not really invested in her desu.Restore the ReefWinner: MapleThe opening scene with Clarity and Liddell being frens was top notch, really heartwarming.
