For an assignment. Wondering if I should keep developing the towns/characters or just submit it as is. I’d also appreciate any feedback as this is my first time working with watercolor on canvas
And while this is up, I’d like to know if my previous painting looked better when it was in progress
Should you finish what you were working on or just hand in an unfinished project? What a dumb fucking question
Rude.
>>7976657I wish I was a normie wannabe artist like you. Instead I’m a semi skilled hermit. Grass is always greener I guess.
>> 7976668Painting is not my specialty. I’m a sculpture artist. I’m preparing for a gallery at one of the biggest bars in my city. This is just a homework assignment
>>7976657what the fuck is this trash bro, what am I even looking at?Can't you just take a pic of some house in the mountains and draw something colorful and good to look at?
I really appreciate the non answers and hostility. Thanks y’all<3
>>7976657Paint the backgrounds more. It's good anon.
>>7976688It’s nothing personal, we do the same to everyone
>>7976688It looks unfinished from laziness rather than intent is what people are telling you. Do with that information what you will
>>7976791My boyfriend tried to m*rder me while I was working on this
>>7976657If you and your assigner hate the fundamentals and art then you nailed it
>>7976814Immaterial to the question at hand
>>7976814Think of it as enthusiastic art criticism.
>>7976814No one is saying you don't genuinely have a reason. If you have a genuine career event upcoming and this is just for a class then of course fuck finishing this painting. Turn it in as it is. You're talking to dudes on the spectrum here so you're going to get direct answers to direct question. If you generally want to discuss your art on a broader sense you have to be explicit about that.
