Glenn Vilppu must have massive fucking shoulders because I tried drawing like this and after 5 minutes my shoulders start to burnShould I start doing shoulder lateral raises?
>>7976805Just do those drawing movements over and over again everyday and you'll fix the problem.
>>7976805He's like Master Roshi. He looks old and frail but under that shirt he's packing a ton of muscle. He probably worked out with Huston.
>>7976805It just takes practice
>>7976805really disappointed that he got a neuralink installed
What are your guys' experience learning from Glenn?I'm at week 12 of my journey, and I'm only starting to begin with the modeling tone.Any tips for a beg?
retarded nigger thinkingHe also had glasses so practice staring at the sun till your retinas melt.
He’s got a wife. Practice getting a wife and feeling her forms first.
>>7976856a wife would increase my art gains by at least 500%. having something ot live for beats any book.
>>7976805No, because the weight stays the same there's no progressive overload. You get just strong enough to not get exhausted while you slowly accumulate minor damage from holding your arm in one position for hours
No lat raises/flys aren't going to help you with drawing as drawing will mostly be using your small stabilizer muscles. You'd need muscle endurance for these specific motor skills to get your muscles to stop burning. In other words just draw more faggot.
>>7976805Just Draw unironically.Even if you stay as a perme/beg/ if you fucking actually stand up and do the drawings exercises it will feel like ACTUAL exercise. I remember in my first life drawing classes getting sweaty cause you were doing that shit standing up for 2 hours. Just like any exercise you'll get used to it.
>>7976805Roll your shoulder blades back and where they drop to at the bottom is your neutral resting point. You want to try to keep your shoulders around this neutral zone. Raising your shoulders higher can cause impingement or inflammation in your tendons which can lead to injury. Pay attention to your body, if the burning becomes more than just your muscles lacking endurance and persists then stop. There's a difference between being sore and a constantly burning sensation. During the exercise itself you should be feeling a sort of lactic build up in your deltoids and lats as those would be the support muscles here. In your traps means you're raising your shoulder too high, can lead to impingement if the muscles become imbalanced, etc etc etc. Honestly, to not overcomplicate things, you're fine as long as it doesn't feel like a swelling or inflamed pain outside of practice.
>>7976805>Should I start doing shoulder lateral raises?Nigger you can't even just draw what makes you think you can commit to lifts
i draw overhand on large pads for figure drawing but it is definitely more tiring working off an upright easel rather than a 45 degree angle.imo drawing horses > easels. Easier to see the model whole you work as well.
