I post pretty sparingly on Twitter despite drawing nearly everyday, but I'm less interested in posting this as a way to boost my follower count and more interested in it as a way to make contact with fellow drawfags that I assume I would be able to express myself with impunity around versus the typical mutual off of Twitter. Things have felt pretty dead these days though and it seems like the amount of motivated people I've ran into over the years has dwindled since I started seriously trying to improve like six years ago. I feel like having drawing as a common interest is not enough to really connect with others, you still need to share some other specific thing to really want to keep talking to them, at least that's how it feels from my experience with trying to make friends with others who draw.
Making new friends feels really hard now but I could just be too autistic for it.
