How do you add this yellowish glow on the lighting of a scene? I thought just using a gradient would be enough but it looked like shit when I tried it.

they use adobe after effects, anon
anime is made in a few steps

>step 1 - draw it on paper with pencils
>step 2 - scan it and draw vector lines in retas or unaliased lines in clip studio
>step 3 - fill flat colors with the bucket in previous 2 programs
>step 4 - add all the post processing in after effects

that's it, profit
you can just look it up on youtube, there's a ton of footage from production of almost every major anime company
