For those who create scenes where a character serves as a stand-in for the viewer, have you ever considered making multiple versions of the same image with different appearances for that character? Some people might feel more comfortable seeing themselves represented by someone who looks more like them.Most of my illustrations focus specifically on those kinds of characters. It forces me to draw new kinds of clothes, characters interacting, vague backgrounds, unique poses, and overall something different every time. There are only so many times I can draw a character I like looking spooky in a hallway or recreating a preexisting scene. But every time I finish a porn drawing there are 50 other things I can draw with those two characters in 500 diff ways, and that's not even considering adding a 3rd or 4th character

I have biggy question. I want to achieve something similar to this style. I can tell this is just a 3D image made in some sort of DAZ/Blender/Virtu-mate or some assets copied from a stock photo I think but whats the stylization process going on here? hardround ink/pen tool outlining and... oil paint recoloring? poster edge filter maybe but I think thats too imprecise then some basic overlay shading I think too?how do I get that really basic blunt detailless effect on the skin so that the eye can be grabbed by the hyper realism of the clothes/environment? anyone whos dabbled in this before know a workflow or at least where to start?I also saw a style similar to this in this show called "Psi Cops" which uses DAZ but they dont say exactly how they do it either from interviews IIRC.

Rendering comes naturally to me and i can easily get in a flow state with it, but actual line drawing is still painful. I can’t get into a flow state with it consistently because I hit too many snags. Your drawing is beautiful and well designed.I don’t think I’m missing mechanical skill, its just a mental thing. I just have a lot of trouble thinking of a subject and my visual library is limited because I don’t force my brain to recall enough. I think I could technically pull off a drawing like yours, but it would take me line 2-3 days if i don’t have the idea in my head super vividly, and I would never be able to do it traditional right now. Its frustrating because I have hyperphantasia but its like my mind goes blank while drawing.Pic related is a line drawing from february where I was able to get into a flow state.
