Which one is more worth it in the long run?
>becoming a popular twitter/social media artist with a steady patreon and clients
>working as a concept artist in the industry/comic book artist in general

Dont listen to aphantasic, creatively bankrupt trolls like >>7988308 who only try to demoralize you out of the race, the long run/long game always wins and that can only be attained with patience and consistency(sometimes luck factors in there too, ngl); be relentless, never give up on the grind, heres your encouragement (you) and best of luck to you anon.

Purely monetarily? Probably the first one, theirs a lot more upwards mobility and a positive feedback loop that reinforces that. Also a lower skill floor than actual employment.

there are no more jobs in ca, the boomer ads do it all now, and it shows
>>
The real question is how well can you use AI? For both of these roles, knowing how to use AI is almost mandatory now. All your competition are going to be using it, and if you're still stupid enough to believe "AI can't draw hands, I'll have a leg up because I don't use AI :^)" then it's already over for you like a boomer trying to enter the workforce with no idea how to use a PDF.
