>>7989842I'm probably a bit of a basic bitch with most of thesegonna write this before scrollingyellow - highlights, sunlight, soft tonesgreen - foliage, dragonsblue - moonlight, melancholy, a sense of innocentnesspurple - shadows, negative space, snowred - flesh, otherworldlinessorange - earth, also sunlight, autumn leavesit's weirdly difficult to answer because when i think of any given hue, I'd have different answers depending on their tone or saturation and i tend to think more in terms of what they can do for me on any given piece than what they mean to me on their own because i tend to paint very haphazardly and kind of figure out what colors i want as i go
