well there is this one insanely good asian course that gave me insane gains and i finally started getting commissionsbut I think I will keep gatekeeping it. no reason to dilute my success. keep searching. it's out there. don't start drawing until you find the perfect course

i dont know if this is a retarded take but it genuinely feels like the only courses worth taking are by Chinese peopletenten, krenz, mr monster, etcthe only drawback is each lesson is like 3-4 hours long and they actually put effort into their courses so a single course covering anatomy could be like 35+ lessons
>>7990620I've made the exact same conclusion (there's a lot I could talk about this, but that's maybe for another time) however that's the paradox. 1 freaking lesson could be 4 hours long and if you're drawing along the lesson (and you should be) that just doubles the time. So a 4 hour video becomes 6 to 8 hours and if you're not a NEET fuck that 1 lesson could take 2 to 3 days to finish. Fine, then there is the homework which is intended to be finished the very next day. Like example, Weichen's calendar is 30 days with TL review, 30 lessons. And homework? Takes hours. So to even compete in the same caliber you have to have no job and if all you do are the lessons then where is the time to draw other things that aren't homework? There really is no middle ground here. You either deal with piss poor information elsewhere designed to keep you on a subscription where they really have no intention of wanting you to excel (New Masters Academy, Proko, etc) or you go the extreme Chinese route.
