Dark news on the 'gram. I regret never getting around to organizing what I downloaded by course.
>>7991008What happened? Don’t tell me CB was taken down?
hello? hide3???
>>7991160Hide 4 was just announced.
>>7991008Its fine, the admin said the bot will take 48 to 70 hours until it can function back
I'm barely 30 minutes into the first lesson on stick figures and I'm getting filtered so hard it's crazy.
>>7991484When it comes back I am going to be smart and organize all my courses into proper folders instead of rawdogging it and relying on telegram.
>>7991162link?
A 5th Hide has hit coloso
>start hide figure finally>also delve a little into prokoStarting to think there isn't as much to drawing as I hyped myself up to think and everyone is actually just really, really bad at teaching.
>>7990992>>MOST WANTED COURSES:>>Steve Huston - Learning to See and Draw the Human FormThis course is available on a Telegram channel, but it only has 38 of the 64 lessons. Could anyone share the missing lessons, please?
>>7992064no
is the Chyan one good?
>>7991569Dancing Koreans were spotted a few miles away.
>>7992548This is the best course ever. I went from complete beginner with 0 skills or knowledge to being a high intermediate in only 6 weeks. You should 100% do this course, it's the one holy grail, the one hidden gem, above all the others that will finally unlock your art skills once and for all.
>>7992554i can't tell if you're being serious or not
>>7992561I've never done the course. I was just being an asshole for no reason. I'm sorry anon.
>>7992565no problem :)
>>7992561Unironically you are probably best off just doing what proko tells you.
>>7992605why
FFS coursebusters bot is down and god knows if the courses (all of them) will be up. Right when I deleted my whole telegram folder to make space, too. Fuuuuck.sfx
Hampton drapery course please
>>7993254Now y'all get the importance of threads like this lol
Hamtown diaper course please
>>7993306Still not super important because it's all sourced from there anyway.
So, I'm about quarter through organizing all my coloso courses. I still want to make sure I have all the important ones downloaded though. However, the only ones I know for sure are hide and nekojira.
>>7992064i have it but i'm not sharing
krenz cushart more like cringe poopfart
>>7993254This is why you should've invested in SSD's when they were cheap. Nice shooting yourself in the foot twice.
>>7994722I just found out today the price of SSDs now. Holy shit. I'm kicking myself for not buying an extra SSD to put in my tower.
still no news concerning the bot?
>>7994722You stuff stuff like courses on 5tb HDD or two.
>>7994864>he thinks hdd price is unaffected
>>7994866They seem mostly fine, no? Did they shoot up like RAM?
anyone have ramon's perspective course?looks like it was posted awhile back but the gofile links are dead now
I started hide but I don't really understand. There are course files and stuff but is there not any homework for practice?
>>7995172Nope, it is mostly drawing along with him and then drawing more on your own.
>>7995175Damn. I can still respect it. The video where he used overlap to draw the same silhouette facing forward then back was pretty good.
>>7995172All coloso courses are half-assed like that. It’s just a cash grab for both the eceleb and coloso. I honestly think it’s some kind of money laundering operation for korean organized crime.
>>7995290they probably make an absurd amount of money, each course is 200 dollars each and theyre constantly coming out with new courses
>>7990996I can't. I have no where to run.
>>7990992When are you guys gonna add "downloadpirate"? It's better than psdly and godownloads.Anyway here's Rinotuna torrent, there's a lot of seeders right now, the download is extremely fast:>aHR0cHM6Ly9saW1ld2lyZS5jb20vZC9uYVhydyNzYVYyU2JFcTdR
>>7996247>limewirei'm good brah
>>7991008>>7991552I used the bot as a "shopping lis" of courses and books then it got nuked LMAO fml now I use the message chat.
>>7991495What's that course name?I know how you feel, I watched Hide 1 when I was a total /BEG/ and I got lost when he started the anatomy section.
>>7996251Then what about catbox?>https://files.catbox.moe/2tq5xu.zip
>>7996258The Tenten course. For what it's worth, several days later, I pushed through it and I get it now
>>7996247Anything like this but by pure-blooded Japanese?
>>7991495>>7996319Is Tenten good for a complete beginner?I looked it up on the internet and its illustrations look incredible
>>7996348I'm still going through it. But honestly, so far? No. It's a figure drawing course. It doesn't teach you from the beginning. I'd say for beginners line control and some construction would probably be the first thing to go to. This guy talks about perspective as if you already understand it. And I do, so it's fine for me, and from what I understand he's a really good teacher and this is a great course on figure drawing. But it's not for beginners at all.
>>7996348would probably be too hard for a complete beginner
>>7996351>>7996352It's already hard enough for me to watch a chapter for over an hour, add to that a language I don’t understand. So I'll stick with Hampton's gestures.Thank you and good luck
>>7995157How many lessons do you need for someone to tell you this is a vanishing point and this is a horizon line?
>>7996247>RinotunaOh yeah, I forgot he was the "hide" of a few years ago on this board.
>>7996511Hide was much better.
seems like CGP for once in a couple years has shit up that the gram doesn't have...
>>7996635for now
how do i stop falling asleep to these? Why are all the courses and guides so fucking boring?
>>7996698unfortunately yeah
>>7996707Passive vs active learning.Reading textbook vs doing problems.Watching a math lecture vs doing problems.
>>7996707Videos have a different pacing from practicing with books for me, and the tendency is to be pretty boring. That said, Erik Olson was mostly fine, and I'm almost finished with the 111h course. Learned a fucking ton.But it is an exception. Hide, for example, was almost unbearable boredom, even with drawing along. Progress for me is way faster with books, notes, and drawing it myself. You need to find your rhythm and what works better for you. After all, studying anything requires some level of scrutiny and endurance.
Is there an alt for paid stuff like proko while the telegram is down?
>>7996707I have to watch at 2x or 3x speed. Some of these guys just want to yap.
Where's the Hide 3 and Oridays 1 downloads.
>>7996961yeah
>>7996765Can I see your art
>>7997108I don't have much to show. I'm mostly on study duty.https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/8369497
>>7991559he mentions it in his videos
>>7996576but he can't render for shit and have to look for someone else for it, even if he's the go to for basic anime figure proportions
>>7996961cgpeers
>>7996707Do you wanna stay stuck in the /beg/ pit forever? You just gotta keep pushing.
>>7997322so who renders better?
>>7996348>complete beginnerComplete beginners are filtered by 99% of video courses, even basic ones aimed at beginners, they need to draw simple stuff, learn to see like an artist, draw circles, lines, and simple shit like that to get a feel for drawing then (you) can take a basic course aimed at /BEG/ I mean simple stuff like cartoony courses and idiotic shit like that THEN when you're used to drawing every single day, develop a habit, then you can learn the fundamentals, and for the love of god learn everything before Anatomy, That's the icing on the cake, you need a cake before that shit like perspective, form, shading, proportions, shape language, and so on, don't be a retardat like me and start with Anatomy.
>>7996511Rinotuna is for people interested in character design while Hide is for weebs interested in drawing anime fanart, he can't design for shit, he's an animator not a character designer.
>>7996707I watch Coloso courses at 2x speed and I pause every 25 minutes and take a 5 minute break, Pomodoro method. I drink a lot of coffee to stay awake and I practice what I learned but it's rough, I feel like a Zoomer when I watch those long courses.
Does anyone have the dorian iten courses?
>>7997564considering hide doesn't really give you much to draw they kinda complement each other.
>>7997571An autistic thing I came up with is I treat it like those classic arcade games you'd find in laundromats back in the day where I'd insert a coin and hit play. The average fight like a fighting game would last about 4 to 5 mins so each coin = 5 mins and each coin is 25 cents. If I'm not fatigued, I put in another coin to fight again. So after spending 7 coins that's 35 mins of attention to a lecturer and if I was waiting for my clothes to wash at a laundromat that fits more or less in the realm of the time waiting for it to finish washing.I don't care if the lecture is an hour long, I just stop right there and end that session. So I have this little coin box for toddlers at my desk for that very purpose.
Does anybody have Sinix's brainstorm courses?PRDP - Post-realistic digital painting DT1 - Abstract design theory The chinese somehow already have it, so it must be available somewhere.
>>7990992Do you guys have this course? I could really use it. https://coloso.global/en/products/2danimator-gamja-us
>>7998134>somewhereYeah, china.
>>7998249Lol, coloso has so many “A to Z” courses. But when you try to search for it, the search automatically converts it to “atoz”. I fucking hate vibe-coding monkeys.
So I got through some of hide. Now do I just... pick stuff out of comics i like and draw them? Is that the secret sauce?
>>7998433No, you need to wait for Hide 4 before attempting anything on your own. Not doing so will harm your progress.
>>7998120>they kinda complement each otherYou can learn the basics of figure drawing from Hide then learn to design characters from Rinotuna, if you do it like that you can land a job as a character designer in anime even if you're a Westerner.>INB4>The pay is lowJust move to Japan and work in a role above in-between like key animation, picrel are top dogs in the anime industry.
>>7998570He looks like that cultist from smallville
Do these coloso courses genuinely even work? I feel like I'm making no progress at all
>>7998646What courses did you try?
>>7998656https://coloso.global/en/products/illustrator-alicevu-us
>>7998659Putting aside the literal who teacher.. Looking at the class exercises there are a lot of subjects that it only covers briefly that could each be their own full course. If you aren't making progress you may need to spend more time on an earlier subject or find supplemental resources. Hard to say what specifically without knowing what you're stuck on or seeing your work.
any way to get nathan fowkes courses? other than cgp (no account) or rutracker (they're in russian)
>>7996500NTA, but perspective is much more complex than that, you fucking idiot. Pyw, but then you wont. Because It would look flat like your brain.
>>7998646 No shit. Unless they come with a bunch of homeworks + teacher’s feedback. Hint: they don’t.It’s like reading books about becoming a better writer. There’s a bunch of them, even by famous writers. These books won’t help you even a little bit, without putting in a lot of work, and time to digest it, and of course self-reflection.Contrast it to a math textbook. It’s a very clear way to skill up. You’re at this level, you want to learn this subject, you pick up the recommended textbook, you do the problems, you learn a new skill. If you are not in art school, the best cost-effective way to improve is probably to do those nude life drawing session with an experienced instructor. You draw, then he tells you what the fuck is wrong with you.
>>7998570>>supervisorso managing the slaves?amazing
>>7998646can you compete against AI?noso what the fuck are you doing?hobby horsing then innit?
>>7998646I think it is about fundamentals. Be it colosso or books, you go through to learn the fundamentals, then it is all on you to draw and apply. Yeah, some courses/teachers/books are better than others, but at the end of the day, you have to sit and draw.
>>7998775>>7998802pyw
>>7998802>>7998804/beg/ here, I'm mostly studying as well, so I do not have much work yet.
>>7998646It doesn't work. Their business model relies on hopeium from people with disposable cash hoping that this course is "the one".
>>7998646Start with cosmos
>>7998959What about Wanda?
>>7999016Depends on your aim If you're aiming for character design, comic, painting,..... Just start with cosmos He literally starts with the absolute basic stuff (lines, surfaces and shapes) Moving to gesture and guide drawing Moving to anatomy and stylization A complete starter course Then you can do hide or anything (just prepare a plan) I can share mine if you want
>>7999077>I can share mine if you wantPlease do. Also, any chance you could pyw?
>>7999095Just check my socials for my work "Reitarubi"You can contact me there for anything "just say hi" Here's some today practice
>>7999137I like your art, I think you're doing great. Can you share your improvement plan and exactly what you did? You started with cosmos? Also, really appreciate you posting your work. Almost no one does that around these parts it seems. Thanks anon.
>>7999150Thx for the supportYou can recommend me to draw you something if you want For the plan I'm following right now Here it's : Foundation [4] - Figure Drawing with Basic Shapes An Easy Approach - COSMOS (Traditional + Photoshop) [1] - Master Figure Drawing: Capturing Natural Anatomy from Every Angle - Hide (CSP) [2] - A Guide for Drawing Faces So You Can Draw Any Character - Hide (CSP) [-] - Quick & Easy Character Detailing Using Formulas & Patterns (CSP)[15] - Conquering Perspective in Environment Design - Luhan Wang (Photoshop) Character Design and Stylization [10] - Creating Characters & Backgrounds that Pull You Into Another World - Timbougami (CSP) [5] - Creating Complete Dynamic and Stylish Characters (1) - Sungmoo Heo (CSP) [3] - Stylization Basics: Tips for Creating Expressive Characters - Kasa (Photoshop) [-] - Mastering Appeal: Character Design for Games - Joofoot (CSP)[8] - [Part. 01] Building a Functional Foundation for Character Illustration - Guweiz (Photoshop)[11] - Illustrating Male Characters with Perfect Lineart - Hyunkyu Kim (Photoshop)Line Art & Inking Mastery[17] - Mastering Line Art for Immersive Japanese Manga Production - Sato (CSP)[9] - Mastering Dynamic Black-and-White Ink Illustrations - 1hyeonn (CSP)[7] - Monochrome Illustration Techniques Lines, Planes, and Perspective (3) - Sungmoo Heo (Photoshop)Coloring & Illustration Rendering [14] - The High-Density Coloring Guide to Bring Your Ideas to Life - Yejji (CSP)[12] - Thick Painting Techniques for Glamorous Character Illustrations - Takashi (CSP)[13] - Impactful character illustrations incorporating fetishism - Kafun (CSP)
>>7999150>>7999155Here's the rest of it (exceeded the 2000 limit) Manga & Comics Production[21] - Introduction to drawing manga basic skills and attractive pen strokes 漫画の描き方入門:基礎スキルと魅力的なペンタッチ - TAKUMI (CSP)[22] - How to Draw Dramatic Action Manga that Captivates the Reader - Hiroshi Fukuda (CSP)[19] - How to make manga comics - Laura S. Espejo (CSP)[18] - Manga Comics for Beginners From Concept to Creation - Natalia Batista (Traditional + CSP)[20] - Manga Mastery Camp A Practical Roadmap to Pro-Level Art - Dee Juusan (CSP)[17] - Write and Produce Manga - Brandon Chen (Traditional) For me my aim is to get better at making comics (feel free to check my previous works, here's a small sample) And as you can see it's pretty amateurish and lack many quality aspects So I divided a plan from the foundation until the comic making (combining both digital and analog drawing) Also I have a list of the artists I'm gonna study (if you're interested in I can share it with you) Without forgetting I need to balance it with my current life situation (working from 8 to 17, doing family chores, praying, quality sleep and training, so no time to waste), also don't forget to log your time (today for example I drew for 2:06:04 hours divided into 19 minutes recalling what I studied yesterday, 1:32 hours doing a course, 33 reviewing what I did and doing the course exercises and starting the next course) The plan my take some time but always remember to enjoy your time (if you feel down, don't force yourself, take a rest, look for references, take a walk to build your visual library) and don't worry everyone working hard will make it eventually
>>7999166>>7999150Forget to include the comic page
>>7999155>>7999166What do the [X] numbers mean?
>>7999193My original plan number (blind cataloging and order) And that's the revised one (the current one I'm following) There's may be switching or change along the way depending on multiple factors
>>7998249Seconding this. Last season I saw someone talking about how they were commisioned to do a cut for Re:Zero of Subaru losing his shit, he was an English speaker mainly too which is odd. I kinda want in on this too, literally making anime and getting paid for it. I wonder how one goes about it after they've unlocked the animation skill.
>>8000046Why do you want to work for notoriously awful anime industry?
>>7999155Not that guy, so you plan to buy these courses 1 by 1?
>>7999155>>7999166damn i didn't know some of these exist. thanks brah
>>7998775The next best way to learn to draw is to learn to sculpt first
Does anyone have Misha Oplev's Light Way To Color?https://mishmadoodls.gumroad.com/l/colorandlight?layout=profile
What do I do if Course Busters is down? I want to download the Cosmos course. Any alternatives?
>>8000241check if the course is on bilibili
What are your recommendations for shadow/light? Preferably black and white, but the fundamentals are the main point I'm trying to figure out. I have Scott Roberson's "how to render", and I will be doing some exercises, but it would be nice to also have something less... Extremely technical? Anyway.
>>8000879Color and Light by James Gurney
>>8000046Reee:Zero should have ended with S2 they're really dragging it on at this point. Also a "cut" could just be a still image being panned for 3 seconds and then congrats you are now a Japanese animator. Coloso would like to pay you.
>>8000195sculpt in real life or digitally?
>>8000064Life is better once you are japanese?
CB got fixed apparently
>>8001414I've been drawing for maybe 2 months. What course would you recommend?
>>8001417I'm a /beg/ but the holy grail on here seems to be this. Going through it right now. https://coloso.global/en/products/illustrator-hide-usAlso check out this guy's recs since he seems to actually be pretty good >>7999155
>>8001419thanks, i downloaded proko basics but I saw others say proko bad so I will try that guys list
>>8001419>seems to actually be pretty good>shitty copies from cosmos course
>>8001216Real life. It’s unironically the best way to internalize forms and anatomy. Spend a few hours sculpting ecorches and you’ll learn more than in several hundred hours of drawing the same. You don’t even have to master it to reap the benefits
>>8001591literally who
>>8001591The levels of hate in your body disgust me
these translated subs kinda suck ass
>>8001680That's gorgeous anon. What clay are you using, is it plasticine? I have a pack of monster clay lying around but I don't really know how to fasten an armature onto a board like you have.
>>8001914I just translate videos myself, I don't trust the methods of the people who upload subs for free.
>>7998769It really is not. Sketchup has been invented before you were born. I've been using Sketchup since I was 10 years old. All Webtoon creators use Sketchup and or Blender. Life is too short to dedicate your life to one little faucet of drawing.
>>8001914Coloso is an unserious company. They are all shit MTL, often don’t even match the video. I refuse to believe people buy this shit. I think it’s just money laundering operation by korean chaebol.
>>8002097What courses do you recommend then, anon?
>go through hide>go through cosmo(extremely wordy, not great)I feel like I should draw to get better but neither really gave any hints on what to draw.
>>8002230Listen to cosmos, he's too wordy but take notes and try to apply them to your practice For hide, just follow along, recall the lessons (so it sticks to your long term memory) and apply what you've learned Do you need more support? Do you have any other questions? (I'll happily answer)
>>8002231I want to know how to start easy figure drawing practice, yeah.
>>8002233Ok I suggest you start with this hide videos from YouTube : https://youtu.be/v-Ej9EIlfoc?si=RXph4YXahzRLF9Klhttps://youtu.be/xPgxHdhnqGc?si=7VeRER0cxB872fZBhttps://youtu.be/5Ij8H3GlG9s?si=kSvrEXrp1-6WHltxAlso he has a playlist of day to day gesture drawing (you can follow along) : https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTY4AtphBe8PSqfXT4qfxwdbLgSK0XZ9v&si=R2y6YbkyBcOFiXUlBut my suggestions, to improve at gesture drawing, you need lots and lots of observation, look at photo references (real people not stylized one's) and try to capture the flow of the pose (doesn't need to be anatomically accurate and make as much mistakes as you want but most importantly see where you did wrong by comparing it to the photo references, for example : this leg is too long, the arm need to be above the head) Gesture is about expression of a pose and it's a crucial step in your learning journey so take your time, don't be frustrated and enjoy the process
>>8002276Also I highly suggest starting with Glenn vilppu course He's a master, he will help you if you're an absolute ABSOLUTE beginner (you can't even hold a pencil or use your hand)He starts easy, from basics to gesture to anatomy He provides very good advices, step by step, soft talk (years of wisdom and mastery of the craft) I really love him anon (he returned my passion for drawing and I didn't quit a day since 2021)
>>8002283>finnish lastnameno
>>8002283cant find a torrent unfortunately
>>8002283Which one? He has many courses. Did you buy it from NMA's website?
>>8002233do the krenz figure course and start practicing your figures today, 7 weeks long course
>>8002283So this is the course? I download this and I go through it and I'll finally be a good artist?
>>8002605it certainly won't make you a worse artist so what do you have to lose
>>8002605There's no "magic way" or "secret course and formula " to become a "good artist" You may go over all the courses available and you still a "dogshit artist" And also you can only take one or two courses but with good practice and approach you'll get better (you don't become a "good artist" in a week or two, masters take years and they never call themselves that) Set your goals, shut the fuck up, grab a pencil and just practice you'll get better eventually
>>8002283>800 dollars>cant find a torrentjesus christ, who actually pays for this shit
>>8002674Have you considered for a moment, perhaps it's just interns spamming these threads with random courses? Literal advertisement.
>>8002686yea im sure a bunch of mentally ill neets make for a great ad target
>>8002687In his defense I am pretty sure the average coloso course sells about five times.
>>8002674>>8002306>>8002436>no torrent >check the OP thread first post >found a torrent that's well organized in categories (gold mine for people who want to learn drawing) with the Glenn Vilpuu course in question Here's the torrent : magnet:?xt=urn:btih:0aebc0f02e6c179b62e04c69af3e5adee3abee12&dn=IC-STUDYJust look for Glenn Vilpuu video course Also you have the telegram channel with thousands upon thousands of courses (all kinds, all styles, almost every country course is there from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, American, Russian, German, Arab, Dutch, Spanish.....) What else do you want ?? Just pick a course and learn
For what it is worth I like line sensei on youtube.
>>8002687And where should they do it, anon? You realize you're literally on an anime website, on a thread about online art courses, where inexplicably people kept mentioning random courses that are not leaked? A good amount of posters on this thread are either advertising the telegram thing or some website's paid courses.
>>8002693The torrent doesn't contain picrel from >>8002283 though.
>>8002743Picrel is just a photo he grabbed from the internet to show you who's he talking aboutIf he had the course, I bet he posted it already Other than that, the Glenn Vilpuu course found in the torrent is more than enough Like this anon said >>8002632 (there's no magic trick or course that will make you good at drawing, only you can change that)
>>8002741not telling
>>8002741I once asked for a course that had not yet been leaked (Yuhong Ding course, funny name), and some schizo like you immediately called me a marketing intern

>>8003582>ENGLISH DUBBED>Korean title>Audio: Japanesewe're going around the world
>>8003751Wow, you're kinda retarded, huh?Literal "i need hide 4 before i start" vs "just draw".It's not like it's forbidden to refer back to the text to check the theorem, lemma, etc. when trying a problem. You probably don't even know there are a bunch of math textbooks that do problem-centric approach, theorems as exercises kind of thing.Fucking retard.
>>8004002We get it, you did a useless Master's in Mathematics and can't get a job now so you're seething in 4chan art threads while thinking you're superior to everyone else. It's a bit pathetic desu
>>8004034you are here too, but u didnt do shit all your life
>>8004002you sound like a bitter little virgin nerd
>>8003582How do I get this? I don't see it on the telegram.
>>8004082they did a group-buy, you gotta pay for access or wait until they release it for free. usually that's 2-3 months later
>>8004101more like 2 years
>>8002470Alright anon I downloaded krenz figure, villipu drawing manual, and looked over the proko gesture course. I didn't fully understand it but I guess it's something you pick up from practice more than something you have explained.
Does anyone have TOART Character Body Training Class 2023?
Why hasn't anyone made a tier list of courses or something? Or a nice image laying out all of the good ones everyone praises? Why are there no resources telling me which courses are actually good?
>>8004386Because we are course hoarders. We do not actually use them, we just keep getting more and more courses as a way to avoid actually drawing.
>>8004386>please hold my handngmi
>>8004386>Why hasn't anyone made a tier list of courses or something?>Or a nice image laying out all of the good ones everyone praises?>Why are there no resources telling me which courses are actually good?I guess this anon here will be a good start will be a good start for you >>7998959>>7999077>>7999155>>7999166Or this >>8002276>>8002283
>>8004413>>8004386S tier is whatever comes next. Everything already out is B tier at best.
>>8004470Hide 6 : how to draw angels and the 5th dimension When?
>>8004386nobody has actually gone through the courses so it would just be hypothetical
>>8004543>>8004386Well, I did finish the full linear perspective by Erik Olson. (https://www.nma.art/instructors/erik-olson) recently. It was pretty good, and I learned a ton. Pretty good if you want more than just the basics of perspective. For now, it is the only course I can recommend. I'm also doing a second hide's course (finished the head, and now going for the full-body one), but I'm really not a big fan of his approach. That said, it might still be good for absolute beginners. That is about it. In the end, I am realizing I'm more of a book guy.
>>8004557Bruh, you're like one of the 10 people on planet Earth that actually sat through Olson's course.
>>8004600Matter of fact, you would have been way better off using that time to learn Sketchup.
>>8004133you understand the explanations as you do more and more practice, a ladder of "aha!" moments, when the problem at hand, the solution, examples, the logic, your understanding, and your capabilities click togetherwatch the lessons, draw along, then on your own, review, take notes, repeat, improve, internalize
Is Hide 1 kind of dogshit? Why did he just jump from line exercises to fucking bone structures. This is chapter 4. Chapter 1 was introduction, chapter 2 was pen grip, chapter 3 was line exercises. Is learning the bone structure of the human body really the next step?
>>8004655it's an anatomy & figure drawing course, they just pad the intro with beginner shit to make it "beginner friendly" (beginners are the biggest market). if bones are too hard for you, you should start with a true beginners course instead.
>>8004668>true beginners courselike?
>>8004672krenz kindergarten or krenz zero
>>8004678Is that the 2023 or 2024 class
>>8004682should be mostly the same, just a different recording of him teaching the same class. just use the 2023 one since it has subs
>>8004683Have you personally gone through it? Did you improve a lot?
>>8004672Brent eviston is the only real true answer for beginners. The rest of them are beg traps like drawabox or drawing on the right side of the brain.
>>8004684no. it came out after I left the complete beginner stage a while ago so I don't think it would be that useful for me. it's just observational/accuracy exercises as far as I know. might be worth going through to brush up and teach others. i was thinking about making a study thread for it, or just posting in /beg/>>8004689eviston is good but it's hard to translate his traditional drawing methods to digital. pretty sure most anons want to use digital.
>>8004690Might as well ask if you're not a /beg/. What were your favorite resources you went through?
>>8004691Steve Huston's book and Charles Hu's dynamic sketching course so far.
Y'all are funny as fuck
>>8004655it was weird for me too, but i just went with it. Just copy the shit he draws once and move on at this stage it's not a very valuable knowledge. I guess memorise the names too if you want of the body parts
>>8000230the bilibili rip of it got uploaded to telegram and cgp
>>8004726Yeah, I skipped ahead a bit. This is more about the proportions of the human body and seeing the full picture, and I think him showing off a bit. He goes into something more simplified and useful later.
>>8004690>it's hard to translate his traditional drawing methods to digitalWhy? Just do the things you can do digitally.
>>8004753cause it's a different medium, a lot of it can't be translated. and since it's a course for beginners, that would be hard for a beginner to do. so it's easier to recommend a course that's in the same medium that they want to use.
are there any courses covering anime-esque cartooning? kinda like pic related
>>8004601But I enjoy the process of drawing.3D digital is nice for complex references, but I find it satisfying to be able to figure out perfect cubes by hand.
>>8004833It's more satisfying to have finished product than floating cube but what's done is done I suppose.
I have some change money to spare (1k dollans to be precise) in some courses What you recommend
>>8005716Keep the money for a rainy day.
>>8005725Rainy day? Is this course good If it's Chinese course about how to draw weatherI'm buying
>>8005725it doesn't rain where I'm from

>>8006837All of them.
>>8006837None. You will get drawing version of Tutorial hell. Draw some shit drawings and build up some tolerance.
>>7998783lmao that gif is so bad, did a person without eyes "animate" it? or was it ai as well
>>7998783well. yes, any beg can "compete" with the slop in the sense that we all prefer looking at doodles rather than slop (which now even normies can tell apart)
>>8007159>which now even normies can tell apartWhat the fuck are you talking about? AI has been even less spottable for normies than ever. Just look around.

>>8009178Its quality is uncertainI'm not sure what I think about itThere are many actions one can take in life. You could jerk off, you could do the course, you could pyw. Life is an enigma indeed.
>>8009178I'm good I did that course I post my work
>>8009432How did you learn things like hair, clothes, reference usage, etc? Does the course cover those things? Or is it just teaching you how to sketch an accurate body at any angle? Because honestly, if it's just that, that doesn't sound very appealing to me, 3D models can already do that (I do respect people who do it the traditional way though)
>>8009441No I was jokingI did not take the course and that's an old work of a friend character (I did it for the fun of it) But I've heard many people recommend it
>>8009458What courses would you personally recommend anon?
Anyone have a link to the ttosom course? I can't get into the telegram. I followed along for a few videos of the yejji course and drew picrel to study coloring, but I really want to see ttosom's method... Please send if possible >_<https://coloso.global/en/products/illustrator-ttosom-us

Does anyone know how to download DRM-protected videos? I am never fucking paying for temporary courses ever again, fuck these cunts.
>>8010675Depends on what DRM they use. But we can't share our methods publicly because then they'll patch it.
My giga gainz stagnated until I can get Hide 3
>>8010684Beats me, I downloaded from that site often before but they suddenly now have drm. Looked into it, figured screen recording with OBS could be an option, but after running that for the first time my pc is now flipping its shit with AMD driver time-outs despite it being ~2 years old and a pretty meaty build. Fuck this shit, I'm done. I hate the current world where you will own nothing.

Is the IC-STUDY\Courses\Figure\Glenn Vilppu - Renaissance Figure Drawing folder properly organized and ripped from one of the online courses or is it a collection of fragmented course materials? The content order strikes me as strange and the originating files of each section are titled "2. X" rather than "1. X".also lmao my first post in +10 years what the fuck are these captchas
>>8012565The renaissance figure drawing course is the title of one of NMA's courses. I don't know about this torrent otherwise because I haven't downloaded it.
>>8012565the first video of each chapter wasn't included because they were just filler title card videos if I remember right
>>8012578>>8012579Thank you for answering
bros i think im retarded but when does hide 1 actually make you better? Im on the overlap/tangets part and so far it has all been very vague... Im assuming here that this is on purpose and this is to give me a basic idea of what im supposed to deep dive into later on my own?

Had taken a break from this thread, back when everyone was big on Rinotuna. I could understand it, but now it's Hide?By no means I'm trying to diss on Hide, he's competent, just, the guy has been around since forever on Youtube and his course is literally no different than what he's been teaching so far. It's all very basic and revolves around BOXES, which is not necessarily something that everyone should do. There are other methods out there.
dont like big pencilsthread challenge
