Why doesn't anyone try to create transcendent art anymore? Everything is just pure slop now.
>>7994066I'm permabdg so my drawing of The Lord may offend him.
>>7994066Umineko is only like 15 years old and that’s pretty transcendental
they do
>>7994091no you just haven't discovered books yet
every retard asks this question but they never do anything, let alone try to paint their basement's ceiling
>>7994066Michael and Jello were literally paid TO paint this, so by definition its a product, not art.
>>7994159trvth nvke
"god is dead"- trent reznor
>>7994159the michaelengelo painting and a commissioned furry oc is on the same level
>>7994066Why don't you?
>>7994066these artists had zero brainrot content, real food and water instead of modern day poison, and absolutely no distractions in life besides creating. Not to mention art was a much bigger deal and far more prestigious than it is today. There's probably someone potentially as talented as michelangelo out there but he spent all his time on roblox, anime and porn instead of sculpting 8 hours a day.
>>7994066why make the cock so small? I mean, that is just laughably tiny. We know michelangelo loved cocks and the male form, so it just doesn't line upI mean even mine is alot bigger than that flaccid
>>7994222small penis, big brain
>>7994230correctproof: negroids
>>7994230>>7994237Explain SEAmongs
>>7994066I can create transcendent art. But people want memes
>>7994222Because they weren't retarded. To people back then, what you're saying is akin to "if you love vaginas, why don't you draw bigger puffier vaginas?"
>>7994066If enough people start painting like this again, it will become slop in our minds. I think it's overrated already. What's with that background?
>>7994066>brainwash propaganda for a jewish faggot on a stick>transcendentThankfully Christianity is a slowly dying cult
Art really just a propaganda tool. Back then the churches milked all the lowly peasants to build insanely expensive architecture and pay sellouts to create pictures for them.Nowadays it's the governments paying faggots to create degenerate communist art. It's just a natural evolution to christian art
>>7994154I’m not a literature expert or anything, more of a dabbler, but I have read a decent amount of Joyce, Shakespeare, Dante, Nabokov, Tolstoy, etc. I think Umineko absolutely deserves to be considered a canonical work of world literature, in spite of its rather utilitarian prose (which I’m told is not much better in Japanese than it is in English)
>>7994256That’s a perfectly valid question though.I don’t get why so many straight men only like tiny hairless slits. Are you really attracted to vulvas if you only get horny when the vulva is practically invisible?
>>7994159and its fantasy fanart. basically the animu crap of its time
>>7994219I mean yeah, the population is like 20x larger, so there are shitloads of people with his gene quality, not to mention tools that make art 5x easier to learn. Everyone is just a dumb, ugly, stinky, shitbrained subhuman animal now.
>>7994222From the time of the ancient Greeks, big throbbing cocks were associated with beasts and dumb animals, like donkeys or cows; tiny peckers were the mark of civility and refined human distinction.
>>7994250He should have said,>big penis, small brainThere is no counterexample for this (besides myself, the exception that proves the rule).
>>7994222He's painted on a really tall ceiling so you aren't meant to be able to inspect his penis size, just see that he has one. My theory for other art like David is that a large or even average sized cock is distracting. You're supposed to immediately notice the overall form and not his penis.
>>7994066There's no such thing as "art", never mind "transcendent art".
>>7994925>Everyone is just a dumb, ugly, stinky, shitbrained subhuman animal now.So were "transcendental" artists of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Read anything about their lives and you'll quickly discover that in terms of personality they were average italian trash.
>>7994903You're supposed to fuck it, not stare at it.
>>7994998But surely it’s reasonable to think that you would also be attracted to how it looks visually, yes?
>>7994986What a stunningly brave and controversial opinion
>>7995001No, it's a purely utilitarian organ, we are made to be visually attracted to other parts; hair, face, breast, ass, thighs.
>>7995020Jesus christ, no wonder women have a complex about their genitals.Maybe feminists were right all along.
>>7995086It's way more socially acceptable to laugh at small penises than vaginas. Like, it's practically expected and it's a common theme in all sorts of media. We can't even talk about art without having a conversation about how pathetic the cock is.
>>7995095It’s true, they’ve been successful at imposing their preferred social restrictions via their reign of terror. But the underlying attitude that they’re responding to is still real
>>7995100It is but in my experience it's not very prevalent in real life. And of the guys that are actually that picky (and have sex) they never talk about it.
>>7994066Will you be paying to have transcendent art like that made or do you think its something you're just owed?
>>7994926>tfw I am a refined and civilized human
>>7994222It’s because rhe cock is not the point. The sculptural human figure as a whole is the point. A hung statue immediately calls attention to the penis.
Idk the hentai ive been seeing they still making generationally great art
Because true transcendent art is an extremely difficult thing to do. It goes beyond just making your own magnum opus, you're making a masterpiece so great that it's something you'd dedicate to god, or something to make people feel something spiritual. It isn't just the visual arts, there's no transcendent music, or anything. It'd be interesting to see someone try and make a transcendent game, but given the time and effort to make a simple game, the efforts for a transcendent game could take a life-time.Anyway, point is, it's an overwhelmingly hard thing to do, when just making art that people appreciate is already difficult enough in this dopamine starved society.
