i rarely post to this board and never in generals, all different styles. its been all positive with maybe a few people who are facetious. so do that i guess? but ya if your art style is recognizable and you post alot you will get people telling you to kill yourself and that its shit etc. artists tend to be bit narcissistic, and its an anonymous board without updoots and downdoots so people are more emboldened to fling shit. its kinda funny thoughever because they always default to "fuck you never upload again" and never valid criticism, if someone who is more skilled than me tears a piece im proud of apart and offers no compliments it hurts more than some random telling me to die or whatever.

I've collected gayschizos before and maybe gays are a higher caliber of stalker than typical channers but fuck me they managed to send me underground lmao. I used to crosspost on a few places and I'm pretty sure I picked them up on reddit, but they managed to follow me back to my tip jars, Twitter, and blog, and while they basically had to stop at my business email, which didn't give enough info to really doxx me, they definitely tried like hell. I think what set them off was a series of studies on nude male figures, which I did first in just 4b graphite but then in colored pencil and watercolor. All of their communique was a mix of anger and horny for some reason, because they would take their "favorite" pieces and attach them wherever they could in comments or emails. One guy printed one out and coomed on it, another guy would spam me demanding "more boys," multiple comments at the length limit, attaching copies of my drawings when he could, one guy took some drawings and drew over them to add cum and fetish gear, that kind of thing over and over in comments, emails, DMs. Eventually one of them signed my email up for a blast spam attack service so I just closed it, then the tip jars and PayPal, and yeeted those accounts lmao. I'm careful not to post any male drawings anymore. Hetcoomers can be kind of gross but at least they aren't dangerous cum brained animals.

No matter how much explaining I do about stuff like this, storyboards that grew more elaborate as time and circumstances cemented my foreseeable future to drawing in sketchbooks in waiting rooms. It's a story that I felt was worth pursuing, so even when my life settled down sufficiently to have computer time once again, I just used it to clean up the text and minor tweaks.

As Notes to Myself, such is the nature of storyboards, not the finished work, but what the final work is built from. But one particular crab cannot see value in such things. Ignorance is bliss. And catching.
