What do you think?
>>8000293Genuinely looks like a tranny but I can't exactly pinpoint why.
>>8000300What do you mean tranny for fuck's sake? She's a woman.
>>8000300Tranny collar, maybe shoulder/hip ratio as well. There are other stylistic elements favored by trannies but they aren’t as unique, just popular anime-styled western art tropes>>8000293Looks pretty good but the titties are, I dunno, boring?
>>8000306And what should tits be like? Like the world?
>>8000300>long face>hair covering side of face>droopy bedroom eye>pointy chin
>>8000311Like, are you trying to say there are no women in the world with elongated faces and sharp chins? And what the fuck did you do to the girl's face, Anon?
>>8000313theres all kinds of people in this world but certain combinations of facial features will give off a tranny vibe
>>8000308Huge milk spewing nipples, for one thing
female clavicles arent really like that. probably where the "tranny vibe" is coming from
>>8000293Round out the jaw and shorten the face. Women in general have softer features than men. Also widen the hips a bit.
>>8000293Add a huge cock and /ic/ will love it
>>8000293I like the face, OP. Don't let them make you change it.
>>8000633this.also this definitely reads more as female >>8000576and maybe you could try softening the curve around the hip to great trochanter a little more, as well as the area around the elbow, and add a subtle convex curve around the breasts to indicate a petite ribcage while leaving the waist alone, if you did want it to read as more feminine. but maybe you don’t, that’s just something the topic seems to have stuck on discussing.i don’t care how it seems genderwise anyway, i think she’s very cute just as she is and i love her face, too
>>8000311>the guy that calls you /beg/
>>8000293I like her face, her expression gives me a confident, playful vibe. That pose tells me a bit about her, but I feel like you could squeeze more of it, try looking at real life models, they're good at striking poses, and it feels like you could show more of her figure and her dress as well, maybe a top down view could allow to show her without zooming out too much. Her right hand could be doing something else too, something like you see in the ref, or maybe holding a purse, just to balance out her left arm.Working on the textures would help adding variety to what it seems a rather repetitive exercise of rendering. Try to work on your foreshortening and perspective (nothing fancy just the exercise of a cube in 3/4 view should help as an idea of placing things in space and should be replicated with a basic mannequin. That and improving your anatomy enough that you can find a sweet spot between accuracy and stylization.
>>8000293You captured form well, I'm not talking about it technically, but the feel of the form. Everything else may not be as great, but what you did excel at is one of the more intractable parts of art.
>>8000293It could have been worse. Feels like something I would see on a random woman's tumblr. That's not meant to be an insult though
>>8000322not really, it´s just that trannies can´t stop living rent free in your incel freak mind
>>8000300It's the sleepy eye combined with the exaggerated yuk-yuk mouth associated with male comic relief characters hamming it up.It's only a small hint of it, though. It's a very nicely done pic.
>>8000302It looks like you referenced yourself to make the pic, but your understanding of forms isn't good enough to pull it off.
>>8000683a whole lotta words for someone who can't PYW >>8001078nope, i've e-dated a tfem; they're the ones who introduced me to all of this tranny lookism shit by sending me ugly looking onlyfans femboys and stuff. If you actually knew what you're talking about youd know that it's amongst trans that you'll find the most self hating people aroundyou should stop projecting your insecurities, and instead PYW to prove any of my points wrong ;)
>>8001112I didn't actually use myself as a reference, but I can say that I needed to make her shoulders softer. I'll draw her full-length from the front later to show that she's not trans.
>>8000293Might've went a bit overboard with the overpaint, but I really dislike this art style. I tried to keep most of the artstyle and still fix the anatomical issues and also fix the "tranny vibe"(?)It's fairly good piece. Only advice I have is flip your canvas while drawing
>>8001165Holy crap, you fixed the art... damn, how did you draw the boobs so beautifully?
>>8000313>>8001161One thing to note is in 4chanIf you get advice it might be accurate but you'll need to parse through the lingo/language to get to it (Avoid arguing with anons when they say whatever edgy term that doesn't mesh with your sensibilities, you're in the wrong neighborhood)When someone says the shoulders/face length are tranny liketranslation: "The proportions in some areas lean closer to male than female leading to an uncanny effectThis isn't to say women can't have longer faces yadda yadda but generally they don't and you need high anatomical/proportional skills to depict that nuance(Find real life women with longer facial proportions and draw them realistically before you can stylize them accurately)Your artwork is very nice and cleanThe other overpaints fix the issue but I feel that they change the character's proportions to the point where it feels like a different character or a different artstyle>>8001165I think this is a good example and fixes all issues but feels like a different artstyle entirely, a good one but differentI really like your style though it's a bit unrefined at parts (This will come with time as you improve/draw more with it eventually you may pivot to something different) I wanted to try to keep the character of the originalLet me know if this works for what you aim for and other anons let me know what you think
>>8001178I realize there are a lot of mistakes in my work and the shading looks flat; I only recently started shading without that "muddy/blurry" look, so I'm still a novice when it comes to rendering shadows and folds. I was feeling really down last night and spouting nonsense, so it was foolish of me to make a post on 4chan in that state of mind. Thanks, Anon, for pointing out my errors and fixing the art without altering it too drastically. I’ve spent a long time drawing only guys, which is why my female characters have started taking on masculine traits—like the shoulders and hands—though the elongated face was just an accident :_)
>>8001165sexooooooooooooo
>>8001198No worries, I think your color choices shading work is very clean so you're long since past the blurry levelI think draw maybe 20-30 more girls and you'll get the hang of it in no time.Focus on faces/shoulders/and hands as the rest of the body is solid
>>8001843Well, what can I say? I’ll do my best, and I’ll post about some of the girls here to find out what other mistakes I might be making.
