>>8006979I wouldn't have such a problem with graffiti art if it wasn't so same-y and if taggers had the common sense to put more thought into whether or not the art complements the buildings and overall surroundings.What I find interesting is that Americans are so quick to either dismiss the activity as something only poor blacks/hispanics do (and blame poverty-induced IQ or dysfunctional households) or will make endless excuses for it as a behavior and how it should be enabled when nobody really looks at how other countries have kids doing graffiti art and the common denominator isn't race, but gender and socio-economic class. Graffiti is nearly entirely carried out by boys (either connected to gangs or who want to be) who are pretty much out of the house completely unsupervised. Graffiti art can be cool. But it's kind of limited in various ways. Everyone knows of Banksy right? Arguably the most famous graffiti artist
