I find Ed Roth to be an little overrated, his art is nice but it’s kinda repetitive, Wolverton on the other hand has more variety and I generally find his work to be funnier to look at.

I’d also throw in Ken Reid as another awesome delightfully grotesque cartoonist.

I think Art Spiegelman came up with the idea and many of the concepts, but they were actually painted by a bunch of different artists.
