I want to draw animeGive me a road map that is realistic
just start
You can just draw whatever man. Most anime looks like shit, most manga does too, and yes most Western comics as well. Anime and manga won't ask you to have perfect proportions or perspective, just big tits and some kind of autistic hook or wish fulfillment to your story, so it's hard to fail for real unless you stop drawing.

>>8008197>I want to draw anime. No you don't you stupid fucking [Insert GR3.b Violation Here].You can't draw anime. You can watch it, post about it, and even jack off to it, but you cant draw it. Drawings are drawn and anime is animated. So unless you can say what you want clearly like a grown ass adult (4chan is 18+ Only) this thread is pointless.

>>8008257That is a realistic roadmap, OP should take note.
>>8008197>road mapfind anime pictures you liketrace themdraw them from referencedraw them from memorycompare them. identify what's different. make it not look differentdraw basic line copies, mostlybut try coloring somespend some time fully rendering somedo it 10000 timesif you can't draw anime pictures you like after that you are probably retarded
>>8008197study foundations-form construction.-perspective.-anatomy. that should be half time you do any drawing the other half get references for things you like and start drawing. It will be bad at start but if you keep up your studies and don't quit you get better.
>>8008248Thank you for this
>>8008334from where?

>>8008197Do as the Japanese do.>Memory/Cognitive Drawing (active recall)>Meaningful Tracing (break down references into shapes and forms, trace a subject's contour lines that imply depth)>Grab a model replica of your chosen subject, open it up/take it apart, and study the innards/skeleton.>Grab as many drawings made by the artists you want to copy, and copy/study them.>do DRSB exercises on references>study older manga and WB/Disney cartoons/old Disney comic artThe most important things to keep in mind are: >spending lots of time observing your subject/reference before you draw and as you draw (if you don't do this, you'll stagnate like crazy)>take the time to draw lots of simple shapes and simple forms from various angles (not doing this is what filters out people who go to art school)>draw from life and draw your immediate surroundings from various angles (a must-do if you want to improve your spatial awareness/3D-thinking/perspective)>draw slowly and with intention (make sure you're doing continuous overlapping line drawing, not chickenscratch), draw with your shoulder and whole arm>draw for at least two hours daily or 14 hours in a weekYou should also be drawing with ink but only AFTER you've gotten comfortable with a pencil.
>>8008964Well, Anon-kun, doesn't it make sense that you need to from the Japanese to imitate them?
