I haven't been "in the mood" to draw for a month now. Yes, I already tried forcing it.
>>8014767Have you tried finishing something small?, that always helps whenever I don't feel like drawing, just try to do a 4koma or a quick study
take a break
>>8014767You gotta create the mood
>>8014767Have you tried doodling? If you keep a diary or notes (for lectures perhaps), doodle on the pages. If you use your phone a lot, download a drawing app, or open a tab for a free drawing webapp. Draw with your finger. If you use your computer a lot, draw with a mouse. Pick really lightweight software that starts really fast.Make it less of a big event. Where you need to bring out the sketchbook and favorite drawing tools or something. Just use stuff that you already use a lot, notebook, phone, mouse.
i use the heatwaves as excuse
>>8014767It's not about forcing it chief, it's about being disciplined.
>>8015040discipline only applies to studies. If your time spent drawing is focused on studies and grinding... you're not really drawing. You're STUDYING. You don't have to like it.Some of us are done studying and now we need to produce good pieces to make money. THAT requires motivation and inspiration.
>>8015197retard
>>8015040You know that constantly forcing yourself to do things you really don't want to can have mental and even physical toll on you right? Plus, is not always a matter of will, sometimes your mind truly stop working and you can't draw shit.
>>8015239sounds like my words cut deep into your soul heh
>>8014767I can basically only draw when under some psychosis nowadays. lucid drawing is impossible.
>>8014767Im deadass, download blender and learn to sculpt, pose ready models, rig animate 2D drawings.Im so fucking serious. Start with sculpting the donut to get used to the controls. You sound like you want to draw but are blocked, so learn something new, stop beating your meat too. Bye.
>>8015387I can only draw at night when everyone I know is asleep and won't bother me.
>>8015697meant to reply to OP
>>8014767Sometimes I like to listen to music while I draw. It might help you?
>>8014767So what? So you are not improving or? Why does that matter to you?
>>8014767What >>8014780 said, stick to doodles for now until you want to draw a big picture?
