I have a 8-10 hours labour job at the day and could only drawing at night. But I have never been able to extend my drawing time beyond 1 hour, I always felt sleepy and tired right after the 1 hour mark. My goal is to be able to draw for more than 5 hours daily at night. Any advice? I'm willing to do anything at this point.
>>8017529When you get home from work, go to bed immediatelyWake up early a few hours before work in the wee morningDraw from 1-4 hoursThen go to workRepeat
>>8017529If you can, get into security and do night shifts. Currently I have 11 of my 12 hours for uninterrupted drawing. It's paradise.
>>8017529You need actually have a vision to be able to draw a lot. Just doing random doodles won't do it. You won't get much motivation from it. That's why creativity is so important.

>>8017529Art is not for the poor, anon. How many times I need to tell you this?
>>8017531Dont do this. If you're doing fun thing before going to work you will seethe for the rest of your dayst. Been there done that

>>8017529No. Even one hour daily is better then anything.Don't push yourself, don't strain yourself you will only start hating drawing and then probably burn out completely and won't draw for long time.

>>8017532But working night shifts can fuck your health over time because the sleep shceudle, no?
>>8017622you guys consider drawing fun? i just draw because i want the finished project and i have nothing else to do but burn time
>>8017920i have insomnia and i'm unemployed. i sleep from 3 PM to 12 AM and i draw until sunrise, do my online classwork at noon.as long as you get enough sleep, it doesn't really matter what time you wake up and go to bed. recommend taking some vitamin D pills regularly, though. the lack of socialization will get to you eventually, even if you're an introvert.
>>8017920If you're naturally inclined towards being a night owl it's mostly fine. If your biorhythm is "normal" you might have more problems.
>>8017529My advice is to join a daily magma or drawpile group. If you want I can make one and add you. If you reply to this message I'll post a link and I'll verify it's you by having you doodle something similar to what's in your OP image
