Drawing directly from life is overrated anyway because the hard part is figuring out how to simplify and stylize what you’re seeing. When you do studies of other artists, they already did all the legwork for you and you’re studying their solutions

You can start with surgery video on YouTube, but you'll never want for gore content on the internet. It's just one level deeper your major websites.
Eroguro is less about actual gore and more about using the human body in conjunction with literally anything else. You're better off studying mechanical stuff, all kinds of animals (the weirder the better), surreal artists etc
Also, read through all of Shintaro Kago's mangas to see how he created his weird worlds. It's usually by taking one idea and then just running with it. A lot of eroguro is absurd storytelling. Have fun with it! Go over the top and then go a bit further!

I study things that unnerve me, personally. proportions, shading, concepts like too many/few of something.It helps if you can find media that makes you feel sick, the less you want to draw it the better. even my normal, non horror drawings are now considered unnerving by many
